We've been coming up to take part in the 4th Saturday English Country dance (to teach or to sit in with the band) at least once a year for - a lot of years! The Fourth Sunday grange style brunch has some amazing cooking, memorials & and all manner of events going on, this is where to connect to community & meet folks of all ages.
Plan ahead for the low to no wifi or cell connectivity and bring a paper map, and you will be fine.

Wonderful gathering place for the local community. Very welcoming atmosphere for visitors too. Beautiful building with a large commercial kitchen. Great place for weddings and special events. They have a fundraising breakfast every 4th Sunday with a different creative menu each month, mostly organic and delicious.

Nice community center with regular events plus there is a commercial kitchen and two large room that can be rented by the hour. I'm not sure if there is a minimum but I found it to be a reasonable price to pay for the kitchen and the venue space. Plenty of parking. Current pricing can be had with a phone call or email.
