Amazing organization of volunteers keeping the old mill running and taking care of historical structures and artifacts. The Fall Festival is awesome with something for everyone. Various food stands and parking are run by local organizations and profits are split between those local organizations and the Historical Society.

For 2yrs I've received the Algonquin Mill apple butter as a gift...and cannot get the jar open! A friend said use a pipe wrench! It's the best apple butter years ago but now it's ridiculous to not be able to use it or get the lid off! Never again...I hope people read this especially the makers of this apple butter and seal the jar a different way!
