I went to this church for over a year
Even attended Bible study there.
The ladies are not welcoming if you are new.
They just want to be with their grown children or friends they've know there for years

Tired of the mega church thing. This is traditional old school preaching about Jesus. It’s a hospital for the spiritually sick. I fit right in! If you come and find sinners and not perfect people, well, you’ll fit right in!

We have made this our home church for the past 29 years. We have taken advantage of the many ministries provided to serve and to be blessed. It is a warm and inviting atmosphere with something for every member of the family from the infant nursery, to adult ministry options. It isn’t perfect so you can come and fit in, no matter what you bring to the table. We have lifetime friends (forever family) and it is an integral part of our lives. It is home.

I was not sure about starting to go to church as I did not know or understand most of it. I started attending about a month ago and I cannot wait for Sundays. The peace, the calm and starting to bring Jesus into my life was scary, but this church has made this decision as easy as getting up and the morning and embracing the world.

Went to Good Friday service with my cousin, she attends there. It was a musical/story of Christ from the time He was arrested up to the crucifixion. It was very done very well, very emotional for me.

A few of my family members go to this church. We were invited awhile back. The series was on Homosexuality. I’m not sure why the church is so obsessed with a topic that is scarcely in the Bible and Jesus never mentions. Further, scholars are still debating the cultural context of its interpretation. Not to mention ti wasn't even in the Bible until the mid 1900's. Anyways, the pastor eventually said that we were going to hell because of the way we vote. To his defense, he said “eternal destination”. But the implication was crystal clear. We believe in marriage equality. Be that as it may, it's really just a bunch of modern day Pharisees and I’m not bigoted enough for this establishment. I have no problem with disagreement. But, I prefer not to be damned to hell on a lovely Sunday morning. I try to stay steer clear of religious folks that try to manipulate people through scare tactics. Certainly, not the place for me.
