I’ve always had a pleasesnt experience shopping at this store, but the last time I went I saw a bed bug crawling on the clothing. They need it completely sprayed down. Don’t think I’ll go back after seeing that.

I have two separate reviews of Can Help. The thrift store has always been a joy to shop at. I have bought many items from there and never had an issue. The prices are a little on the expensive side. I saw a pair of shoes the other day that were priced at $25, and that is way too much, in my opinion. I agree that a lot of their prices are overpriced. But, overall, they have a pretty good selection. Now, the "In Need" part of the business, where you go "for help" is a JOKE. I have never once had to come to Can Help for assistance, but this year has been extremely hard for my children and I. I work 2 jobs, 16 hour days, and our electric bill was too much to do alone. I tried every avenue before swallowing my pride and going to Can Help. WARNING: If you go here, please be prepared to be made to feel WORSE than you already do about asking for help. The short Hispanic lady that works the cases is the RUDEST and most UNPROFESSIONAL person I have ever dealt with. She is in the WRONG line of business. I turned in an application, and then had to leave to go get Birth Certificates and Socials for everyone in my family, as well as a bank statement for the last 45 days. I came back and sat with her and she then proceeded to question me about every detail of my life, meanwhile ARGUING with me about what I spent my money on, answering questions about what I spend for food, household items and hygiene, "why my phone bill is so much?" She would not let me answer a question before she was interrupting, she then proceeded to question me about my health and everything pertaining to that. After this woman RUDELY made comments that were degrading and condescending, she only THEN proceeds to tell me that "they do not have funds at this time" -- so, all of that, for nothing. She knew from the beginning that they did not have funds, and could have said that from the gate, but she had me sit there for her to judge and make feel like the smallest worst human on the planet. Can Help--- I implore you to look into this. This lady is the LAST person that needs to be sitting at that desk, speaking to citizens of this county that are IN NEED. She is judgmental and rude and should probably just volunteer putting up items in your thrift store. As I was sitting in the waiting room, a friend walked in, for the same reason, and asked me who was going to see me. I had never been there and did not know but she warned me as well... if it is the Hispanic lady, I am not going to come here and you should leave. She is the worst. I could not believe it when I sat there biting my tongue because of this lady. I don't normally leave reviews, especially publicly, but this needs to be known. It is hard enough to ask for help, and then this lady treating people this way. I am a single mom working 2 jobs in the world we live in today. She needs to learn compassion and empathy, instead of being on a power trip. Do better Can Help.

Don’t trust can help in Sulphur Springs Tx! A friend’s daughter bought a table and could not load it! Ask permission to return same day or next! They marked it sold! They returned and picked it up and they blasted daughter and her boyfriend and man that helped them! He used his bosses van ! Can help posted all photos on there local website! Lady called can help told them she was person that paid for item in question!

Had to drive there and show receipts! The Spanish lady was rude and admitted to posting the photos online! Agreed to publicly apologize and DID NOT ! They made excuses so we went to police department to counteract and stop the CAN HELP LIES!!
I have live videos after editing lady’s name off it will be posted to public!!
They blocked me from posting video I will be posting it online in future!

They need to work on cleanliness and organizing but overall prices are good. Shoes are overpriced unless they are having a sale. I have found some good books and media here. Staff is very kind.

This thrift store has a work staff that constantly is putting our buggies full of used produce out, are very kind and acknowledge each and every customer they pass.

The weekly sales within the categories are always a hit and I don’t leave there without my hands full!!

This is where I donate EVERYTHING I am getting rid of. Joanne is an excellent customer service representative there. I also buy a lot of my "repurpose" project pieces there, like small furniture, glassware, and other crafting materials! I recently bought old decorations and painted them all black for a Halloween party!!! Great place!
