If you want to really disconnect from daily life and have a great time with good friends, look for an opportunity to come to Camp & Sons! The beauty of nature, the quietude, and not least the utter lack of cell service make this the perfect place for retreats and celebrations. My wife and I come here every other year, and we love it.

I have stayed at Camp & Sons several times over the past 8 years. It has always been a magical experience.

There’s a large kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. There are several bathrooms, and 2 outdoor showers (one is heated). There’s a pond, beautiful gardens, unique statues, ample wildlife, and even some chickens and sheep wandering about. On one trip, a deer decided to “guard” my tent all weekend. I was awakened by a flock of wild turkeys in the morning.

All electricity on the property is solar, and all water comes from a natural spring. There is no cell signal, so just forget about work and enjoy nature. You can hike for hours and not even leave the property.

After dark the skies are amazing; the Milky Way is clearly visible.

Once I rented one of the cottages on the property. That worked out well - I was able to enjoy the natural beauty without packing a tent or a sleeping bag. The cottages have their own kitchens and bathrooms.

If you’re looking for an escape from daily life, I highly recommend Camp & Sons!

My favorite venue for private campout parties in Mendocino.

The grounds are beautiful, the semi-natural pool and two hot tubs are great, the kitchen is enough to do organized meals for fairly large groups. Karen and Tomki are wonderful and so is Bella (just don't pet her with bare hands - she works in the woods).

I have decades of great memories here and am making more every year.

This unique and beautiful property is the perfect place to unplug. The trees, pond, garden, and amazing night sky leave me feeling inspired and reconnected each trip. Visiting Camp and Sons will leave you with a sublime experience.

This place is perfect for camping or a wedding with its lovely gardens and pretty ponds. Can't wait to go back there again! Highly recommend visiting or staying for a weekend. You can rent the venue for your group or business. I visited when I lived in Ukiah.

A drive up north, past the hustle and bustle of city life, towards serenity and peacefulness. This is what we felt upon our arrival at Camp and Sons. The sound of birds and the feel of the breeze brought a smile and a sense of calm to us. The camp is large yet quaint. The swimming pond with its natural vegetation and the little wildlife sanctuary was cool and inviting during the hot days. The garden had its own unique feel and vibe which we found tranquil and relaxing. The host, friendly, warm and welcoming was a welcome change. The campsite is large enough to feel that you are the only one here yet small enough to know that just a few steps away there are others. Having no cell reception provided a needed break from the connection of others who wants or need your time. This is a great place to come and rejuvenate and reflect and just be. I look forward to coming back here for the solitude and the opportunity to recharge.

Camp & Sons is a beautiful and serene escape. A hidden gem in Mendocino County. My husband and I especially loved the beautiful pond and the organic gardens. The owners are wonderful people who go out of their way to make everything special! I highly recommend their vacation rental and campgrounds.
