Cahaba Medical in Centreville is absolutely amazing! They make you feel right at home. Jamie Bishop is my EVERYTHING doctor. She takes care of my mental health, my overall health, and my "lady" health. I can't recommend her enough. She listens, she is thorough, she cares, she treats me as a person and not just as a patient. I drive from Tuscaloosa to Centreville just because the care and customer service is so great. If I need a prescription refill, there is literally no hassle, and it is done within the hour, most of the time. I would give this place 10000 stars if the option was available. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I enjoy coming here to this practice. They take time to answer questions, find solutions and very friendly staff. I appreciate all their help and they answer messages through the portal in a timely manner. I would recommend this location and alabaster location if they are unable to make the drive to Centreville. I should be handing out their business cards to help recommend them to other folks.

BEWARE!! Read before you waste your time and money!! I was recommended to this place by a church member because the founder was also a previous member and I thought possibly, I could find a doctor who actually CARES! Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite!!
First, I have tried to get prescriptions filled since I first came a few months ago. I have even called my previous doctors to get fax numbers for the office staff to get my records and it still hasn’t been done. I have called so many times with no results! And after explaining this to Dr. Stringfield, his best option was that I go have them print them out and bring them to the office. How inept is this place
And Dr. Stringfield has never kept his word. I have been trying to get an MRI approved for 2 months that was denied. Obviously not his fault, however, I gave him a copy of the denial letter on Friday April 4th and he said he would call the next Monday because they allowed a 72 hour rebuttal. After calling him a couple times after not hearing back from him, he finally calls on the next Friday and said he just got off the phone with them and it takes about 3 business days so he was supposed to call me back the following Wednesday. So now I had to wait an extra 5 days for him to actually do what he had initially promised because I have been in constant chronic pain! He told me two weeks ago that he would call me on Wednesday April 16 and let me know one way or the other. Unfortunately he’s too young to understand what pains life can bring towards this age and it truly shows in his lack of understanding chronic pain and the seriousness of it! Today is May 1, and I have yet to hear from him.
I am from Alabama, but I have lived in 7 different states and Europe and I have never felt less cared for than I do at Cahaba Medical in Centerville! Because of his lack of concern and neglect, I have had to suffer even longer with this chronic pain. Obviously something he knows ABSOLUTELY nothing about and has very little empathy for. The
lack of action on his part has proven that. I have learned in my short term there that when you are out of sight, you are truly out of mind! I will not be back!! I called to speak to the administrator to express my concerns so hopefully no one else will suffer the same frustrations, and, as expected, I have heard nothing back from them either! There has been ample time to make it right and still they chose not to. Go somewhere you won’t have to call repeatedly just asking them to do their job!! Save your time and money and go somewhere you are actually cared about!

I only go here for Yartins, if it weren’t for her I wouldn’t go here at all. They have cameras in EVERY single room, even in the room used for gynecological exams! I hope the cameras and servers are HIPAA compliant and I would never have any exam done here that involves my private areas. They also ask too many invasive questions that aren’t relevant to my health, the health department isn’t this invasive. And they try to be an all in one shop, no thanks. I give 5 stars to Yartins, but the place in its self gets 3 stars.

The staff are always professional .Dr. Paradise is very professional and truly takes time to listen and explain my medications. He works with me to find the best solution for me. After a year of chemo and having diabetes he has made my life better in just four vists.He is a treasure to Cahaba Medical !

I can’t speak on the whole practice, but do NOT bring your children here! My daughters had new patient checkups here yesterday and we were treated with so much disrespect. I was hopeful that this could be our new pediatrician as they were recommended on altering the vaccination schedule for patients. The provider argued with me on this after I told her many times that I was sticking to my decision. She then was very rude while assessing my children and did not look them over throughly, kicked the garbage can on the way out the door , and hit me an instrument she was using. Never once apologized. She never said goodbye or nice to meet you. We had to wait TWO hours in a blazing hot examination room for a vaccine. I will NOT return here and do not advise bringing your children.

If you just need someone to maintain your prescriptions, this place is fine. If you're having severe problems, I'd recommend somewhere else. The most annoying part of the past year was having the Dr tell me that they would "check with their superior" because they weren't exactly sure." Then wouldn't hear anything else about it. I don't feel like they care as much as they could, or should. Definitely not the level of care I received years ago from Dr Waits. So, after a year of this, I think it better if I find an older Dr who better understands arthritis and possibly runs their own practice. They may be more inclined to care or follow up with the patient a little better.

Nurse Jodie and Dr Savage were both really awesome. They both helped me with my IUD removal and were just genuinely kind! Front desk lady was also helpful. At first it was showing my insurance inactive but she took the time to check on the website and got it situated so I was still able to be seen. Thank you all! Definitely utilize this location if you want great care!
