The experience was good, I saw how well organized and fast workers work with the people and fast attention with the clients, I will recommend 243 Schermerhorn Street as well the Coney Island Food-stamp agency. Two good Centers for the food help they care about your needs!

My experience at the EBT office in Brooklyn was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the attitude of the staff was unprofessional and dismissive. When my name was called, I approached the window and politely asked if they had called me, but instead of a simple answer, I was met with rudeness. The worker insisted on my birthday instead of confirming my name, and after providing it, she threw my card at me. This blatant disregard for customer service is unacceptable. If the staff can't handle their jobs with a basic level of courtesy, they should consider finding a new line of work.

The women in this place are incredibly admirable! They are loud, strong, and they know exactly where and how to direct people. I can only speak for my specific issue which was getting a replacement card. They printed me a card (something HRA previously told me was not possible) and sent me on my way. Extra props to the older elderly Black woman with a cane who was directing everyone calmly and efficiently. She was amazing. The women running this place are awesome!

Go there early but don't be scared by the long line you see outside. The line moves fast estimate about 1 hour to complete the whole process. Don't bother calling for a replacement card they say 7-10 days but sometimes they forget. Just get up early and get your card within an hour.
