Everyone at Brookdale is so wonderful and go out of their way to make you feel like family!!! They truly show their admiration for their job and it’s not just a job to them. Their so knowledgeable, help you with any questions you may have at anytime no matter how busy they are, and help you feel like your loved one is so well taken care of. My mother loves it there and never wanted to go to a nursing home, “she says this isn't a nursing home it’s so beautiful here , it has a lot of activities for me to do and everyone treats me so well”. They have helped me so much by not only understand the disease but helped me know how to communicate with my mom and help her enjoy life!! Brookdale is definitely the place to go I have not seen my mom this happy in a long time!! The staff and administration of memory care is absolutely amazing and phenomenal .

My grandfather was at Brookdale Peachtree for 6 years. Early on the experience was very positive. The facility has declined though.

Insufficient staff was our biggest issue and our complaints were just dismissed. We were told the facility was staffed appropriately. However, we couldn't reach anyone in the at the facility in the evenings on the telephone, long delays when my grandfather called for help, and on multiple occasions emergency services could not reach anyone in the facility when needed. Some of the staff members are amazing. But when the facility isn't staffed appropriately even really good staff are spread too thin.

They also oversell the medical services offered. The nurse that is onsite isn't much of a resource. She handles medications, but nothing for than that and honestly she is not competent to handle more than that.

Some of the staff are wonderful and were a blessing. Unfortunately this may be the nicest place in Statesville which is sad. I would look elsewhere for your loved one. The level of care is just not adequate especially for what you pay.

My mil has been there for almost a year and she has been very well taken care of. Trevis. SaCorya, Shameka, Brittany, and all the other staff are very attentive to our needs. But Autumn…she’s the bomb diggity! I especially like that there is not a big staff turnover and that they know my mil and recognize quickly if there are any issues going on with her, like a UTI. The facility is nice and always pleasant to walk into. I have not personally eaten in the dining room but the food must be good because my mil has gained some much needed weight. I’m so thankful to have my mil close by at a nice place.

For the past year, the entire Memory Care staff have provided excellent care for my Mom during her stay. They consistently go above and beyond in loving, caring for, and managing the care of their residents. Brittany, Bonnie, and Amy are always available for any questions or concerns, which is a huge comfort. I now consider the staff as "part of my family".

I am so grateful to have been referred to this community for my grandmother! In such a delicate time, we knew it was the perfect place for her to call home and receive the best care. The facilities are top notch and Sona made us feel welcomed and informed. I truly do not have enough good things to say about the entire experience. For the money the quality of care is substandard. I wish they had more concern for the quality of the staff and cared for residents as if they were their own family member. Before signing your loved one up for Brookdale, ask a lot of questions about the training of CNA’s and med techs and only believe half of what you’re told about the amazing services. Spa tub doesn’t work, it doesn’t matter what foods you carefully put down for your loved one- they serve whatever they want- it doesn’t matter what their hobbies are because they won’t do it any longer. Brookdale decides the activities based on groups, not individuals. Then the residents become more and more inactive. It’s sad. There are usually about 20% of the staff who are excellent- and those people are truly special.

I have had a sister-in-law reside their for quite a while a few years ago, and now my sister is there. She has been there since April 1, 2021. All the staff has been very friendly. She does not have a phone in her room)per her request), and they are always ready and willing to get a message to her.

Great group of managers and team here! Everyone is very welcoming and warm. If your looking for a place to bring your loved one, this is it! Glad to be apart of such an amazing group of people.
