I moved in here in mid July from another assisted living home in Westminster. I moved because my rent was raised 25%. I love it here the staff is friendly and my room is the same size, with a balcony.
I feel relaxed and calm, I can have over night guest without any problems. The food is very good and plentiful.
If anyone asked if I like here, my answer is yes. I recommend it to everyone.

took tour to see options when mom needs a place to move to. people are happy there. employees are happy. residents happy. they say food is good. you have choices with food. activities and tables for jigsaw puzzles. the model room is nice. lots are included in price

My mom has been living in Brookdale Brookhurst for 4 months now .It is the greatest place. The staff from director to waitresses are the friendliest and most helpful. They care about the residents and it shows. The facility is super. There are lots of things to do if you choose to, from Bible study or Spanish lessons to outings like restaurants or movies. They do your laundry, clean your place and have a eating facility like a restaurant. With yummy food like fish and my favorite the cheeseburger and fries. It's summer so now there are cookouts! There is a library with books to borrow , puzzles and games. They participate with Scan Embrace and the doctors and nurses come in and see the residents at home. There is also music in the Activity room with people and groups coming to sing with residents. My band Blue Neon played for the folks. What a fun time! I really believe there is something for everybody.

I was planning on putting my mom into Brookdale Brookhurst due to her dementia diagnosis. The property was able to handle her needs and proved to me that it's a stable, clean and comfortable location for people like her. I worked with the management staff closely over a few days coordinating everything. They were very communicative and friendly and even made some impressive accommodations for my mom and me at the last minute. Ultimately, I took a different path for legal reasons and didn't move mom in. But the experience was very positive and I would consider the property again if mom's needs change.

I am an independent-living resident at Brookdale Brookhurst for almost 2 years. I have been very happy here. I get help with laundry and housekeeping. Food is good, 3 meals a day. I enjoy exercise classes, craft projects, and outings. What I love best is the friendly atmosphere here. I highly recommend this facility for all seniors, whether you need just a little help, or more assistance.

We looked at over eight different facilities in Orange County for our 89-year-old father. Brookdale Westminster was one of the finalists as it was an intimate and clean and friendly facility. Nancy, the head administrator/sales person was excellent throughout the whole process. Ultimately though, after the assessment by their caring nursing staff it was determined that my father would need memory care so we ended up opting for a board and care home. Otherwise, I highly recommend Brookdale Westminster. Appears to be a great facility.

My mother is a newer resident here. Before she came to Brookdale Brookhurst, she lived alone with a part-time caregiver. She is much happier now that she is with her new friends and amazing 24/7 staff at Brookdale Brookhurst. The staff sincerely care for their residents - they are attentive, kind and professional. I can rest assure that my mom is being take care of by the staff with her daily medicines, meals, good hygiene and fun activities. Brookdale Brookhurst is truly a gem for assisted living facilities in Orange County.
