This place is absolutely amazing! The community, the Mayor and his wife and the employees and volunteers (cubb’s)here care so much about the Seniors here. They a wonderful group of some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met.

When I came to Bridgeport less than 2 years ago one of the things that warmed my heart was how important the seniors are to this town. I was surprised to see so much activity for them in such a small town. This has become just another thing I love about Bridgeport and why I decided to open a business here.

Since I was in my 30’s I’ve been saying I just want to hang out with a group of seniors and play bingo with them when I get older. Now, here I am at 53 and it’s right at the door and I’ve somehow landed (by the grace of God) into a town that loves its seniors and it is evident how much the seniors love and support their town. I am a new business owner here so it means the world. I was able to play bingo with them when the Mayor, his wife and a wonderful group of ladies called the Cubb’s invited me to come and see what the Senior Center is all about and they spoiled these people in such a sweet way. It was their Christmas celebration. I am hooked. I hope to get to be a part of more of these events and I would say if you know of any seniors looking for a place to “belong” and do activities together, this is a great one!
