The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it was impossible to make an appointment. We did wait a long time, but they were seeing people with appointments. And rightly so. We did finally get seen. We met with a wonderfully pleasant and helpful man named Walker. He was patient with us and got straight to the problem. AND got it resolved! He gets 5 stars for sure! They were helping people as fast as they could. Make an appointment if possible.

This place just flat out sucks.
Why do I have to have an appointment for something so simple as a replacement card?
And why do I have to go into the office?
It should be all online, upload all my documents on there and then get my card!
It’s as simple as that!
It should not be a hassle, or just simply walk in, I don’t care how long I wait, I just want one of those options where I know my stuff is complete.
No wonder this lazy dump is so hated.

Highly appreciate the officer that opens the Office in the AM. He greets all citizens with a small yet informative speech prior to letting everyone come in 1 at a time. He recommends that we take advantage and use the Self check in QRcode located at the front door. Which saved me about 15min wait in line.

Have you tried to set up the new Login. gov accounts? Good Luck!!!!! I spent over an hour trying to do so.! Shouldn't this be simple? The entire process is so user UNFRIENDLY!!! Was unable to set up my account. HELP.

So I went to the social security office with my parents. We waited for assistance for over an hour. I was very unhappy with how unprofessional the supervisor, who came over to assist today, with regard to the treatment of my parents. She told them she could not help them, she had, and I quote “a whole room of people” that she needed to help and that my parents case would take “way too much” of her time. The reality is, she barely gave us a minute of her time for the hour that we waited, with no assistance or information provided whatsoever.

As a new resident of the State of Florida, I was dreading going to get my last name changed (for drivers license). I had been trying to do this for several years in the state I lived in, I eventually gave up after mailing the packet with all my documents in it and it being returned for more information. Thank you so much to this social security office for making it very simple for me to finally complete 🙌 my name change!! I was in and out in no time! The office was very clean and very organized 👌
