Boys and girls club offers competitive prices for some sports. However, volunteers coach the sports and sometimes nobody shows up.

My son attended this location.

It's a great price, but that's about it. The entire facility is a free for all and anyone can just walk into the place. Honestly, if he were younger, I would have immediately pulled him from this program. I was told in the beginning that it was a structured program (that was our experience at the last Boys and Girls club he attended), but this place is the furthest thing from "structured".

The place is so unorganized. Counselors don't even know who your kid is half the time, let alone where they are.

Staff members speak to children very rudely when they think parents aren't around. One counselor spoke extremely harshly to my son one day right in front of me before realizing I was his parent. I told him the way he spoke was unnecessary and he should change his tone. Told the office about the incident, but they didn't seem to care. Didn't surprise me though because the office manager is one of the rudest employees they have. Upper management is terrible too.

For example, we were in a contract with them for the summer and even though things were going wrong left and right and my son was being treated poorly they didn't want to let me out of it. That was until my son was actually violently shoved by one of the seasonal counselors!

I was outraged that my child was put in such a dangerous situation. When my husband and I spoke to the director and his boss, they acted like it was no big deal. However, they let me out of that contract pretty fast because, let's be honest, they knew they had a lawsuit on their hands.

Please be careful sending your children here.

Can’t believe this place is even offering a sports program with out any coaches. Signed up my son for the spring soccer and realized they didn’t have any coaches for there season and needed parents to volunteer for the position. Your paying $175.00 for a season, your better off buying a soccer ball and playing at the park with your kids.

When my daughter was 5 I was looking for after school care and I felt it wasn't supervised enough,i later learned they have a special room thats shut and seperate for that age group. Now shes 9 and completely out grew the other place she was going to and she was very bored there and the majority of kids seemed much you get. So I tried the B&G club over Spring break and she loved it!!! There's So much more room ,many different rooms for activities like a huge
Computer/ learning room with many computers art, cooking, the cafe /snack room,a Huge full size gym /basket ball court. They have a huge outside play area that's open most of the day they have a movie room on Fridays.. so many cool extras.. being it's summer, there are field trips every day ...everything from whale watching, the LA zoo, Knotts Berry Farm, History Museum,to just roller skating. My daughter's had as summer she won't forget. As far as the staff ther all know me and her by name, the kids are checked in and out!! All the counselors have been very nice and interact with the kids well. She loves the bigger space, kids her age to play with. She had one incident were she had scraped her knee and they called to tell me and make sure I knew she was ok it was cleaned and bandaid was put. I thought that was very responsive action letting me know. I love the Club and it's cheaper the the Y were she was offered so much less. They even serve hot lunches if you want during summer. Its awesome!!!.love it and so does my daughter

I went here this whole week and it’s pretty boring they don’t let us get close to other groups, they have us eat lunch in the technology room, we barely okay any games and they put many many special ed kids in my groups who are always making noise and saying bad words and so on ☹️.

The reason K have it at least two stars is because the staff are nice and because the playground is nice 👍

The staff are nice and there is lots for the kids to do. Picking up and dropping the kid is very easily and I always know he's in good hands.

As a parent we often work too early, you got the Boys n Girls club to drive your children to school And pick them up and stay at the Boys and Girls Club until 6pm.
