Willa was exceptionally knowledgable and helpful in her recommendations for our day trip. She had just been on the BRP the day before I spoke to her, so she knew what she was talking about in advising us to not go to Grandfather Mtn that day as the leaves were all gone from up there. She gave me great hand-outs, including an awesome map. I'm so excited we stopped in to talk to her before heading out for our trip. We ended up having a wonderful four-hour round-trip drive from Winston-Salem to Fancy Gap, down the BRP to Wilksboro and back to W-S. It was a glorious fall day with scenic vistas and photo ops all along the way!

A interesting place to go for information about the Blue Ridge Park Way. There are lots of exhibits and broushures. Also attendants that can answer specific questions.
