Though I may not often go to Big 5, I'm a senior senior, lol, I always enjoy it.
The staff greets me when I enter, and they offer help when they see me wandering around trying to give the impression that I know where I'm going. The staff helped me find exactly what I'm looking for. When I check out, they're super easy to deal with as far as retrieving coupons from my darn cellphone.
Everything that I've purchased is perfect, good quality, and a bargain.

I honestly feel tricked and taken advantage of. After going to 3 stores trying to find my son size 14 shoes, we come here. He picked out 2 $30 pairs of shoes to try on and I asked the guy to bring out size 14. Apparently he brought out an entirely different shoe, and we didn't notice the swap. They fit good so we go up to the counter only to find out they are $54 shoes! He had swapped them out for more expensive ones and did not say anything. When I went back to check the price and question him, he had major attitude about it and really didn't care. I don't have $54 to spend on shoes as my son JUST came to live with me today! He spent $20 of his own darn money to cover the shoes. The lady at the counter didn't give two craps either about it and kept her mouth shut. I will NOT go here again and I will NOT recommend this place to anyone ever again. Pure slimy to take advantage of people and trick then like this.

Good prices they do have more men shoes then women's. But very good selection. The staff was very helpful for the most part besides the two girls working up front were to busy talking to eachother. I had to ask the same question 3 times before they heard me.

Cashier knew I was walking to come pick up a bike with my fiancé since we’re without a car and I was gifting him a bike since he’s been skating everywhere with me. I made it a point to explain so there wouldn’t be any issues by the time I made the 2 mile walk there. We ask for the hold from the same cashier who gave her name on the phone, and she’s immediately rude when we asked to pick it up. I had called all of an hour before going there and she acted like she had no clue what I was talking about.
Then they bring out the bike… and it’s unassembled in a BIKE SIZED box. Which again, I’m walking to pick up. Dude I work retail and I’ll still take an extra second in my day to make sure each customer is taken care of. A quick heads up would’ve saved me a whole hour of a headache.
Just go to Target next time, it’s in the same parking lot and prices are better.
