The State, the County and officials in general consent decree, violates the States constitution, law enforcement are complicit over the distress experienced on the premises, like most non-profits,this facility functions as a slush fund for big tobacco, government oversight?nevermind they all done together,I alongside with others were promised thousands of dollars from a self-proclaimed preacher,we were informed that with a new administration in place non-profits has been sitting on pile of cash, the self-proclaimed preacher advocated for $ 10.00 Starbucks gift cards, for as long as individuals attend service at a nearby congregation,we know that the Billy Graham foundation assets is estimated at 600 million dollar, while the tobacco industry worth proximately 80 billion,in red state the erosion of constitutionally protected rights are notorious, when businesses and government puts it's head together they design a system to fail, when that does thru the backdoors called loopholes they continue with the deprivation.

Useful if you're in a bind but it's a dangerous area with dangerous people. The residents steal and it's hard to even charge your phone. I was threatened on numerous occasions in the one week I was there. I'm not sure where all their donations go because several showers have been inoperable for a while, I'm told, and you're lucky to get a small meal once a day of sandwiches and water.
If you can go anywhere else, I'd recommend caring services in high point. They've got their stuff together and actually help you move forward rather than remaining stuck at Bethesda

Do they really help out ,I see people with tents near this place so do they not have rooms . Can't speak on it to much never helped me out when I needed it. I guess I didn't look old. It might be a good place for some people after 5 or 9pm . They don't really help out, that explains the tent in the woods across from there building. They are under new management and the lady name that start with a K doesn't need to be that she is very rude, but that is most of how witches Salem is I am seeing that is why the homeless rate is high.

Most of the employees are great, but when one or two let some of their favorites break rules at the expense of another. My friend was kicked out because someone broke the rules by shaking her awake. When she says something to the monitor, she was told there was nothing she could do. When she asks if she can go in the day shelter like several women the night before, she was that either she can go back to her bunk or leave. When she asked why they made her leave in the rain and said she had to wait till Monday to speak with the director.
