I am very impressed with Belmont Village in Thousand Oaks. My husband has been there for a few months and the staff has been phenomenal. It is a great relief knowing he has the best care that could be provided for him. He participates in the Circle of Friends program and I am sure this helps with his mental health. Had a great time meeting other professionals in a networking situation at Belmont. Jennifer Himes was very knowledgeable about Belmont. Beautiful location, beautiful building, kind staff. Look forward to taking photos for the seniors living in the community. 🙏

My elderly mother lives here and she loves the staff and supportive community feel it has. The management is outstanding and the people are very caring and helpful with making sure she stays active and happy. It is a truly wonderful place for any senior to live.

Belmont has a problem with management, poor communication and illegal practices, they work staff to the bone and don’t properly staff them even when staff tells them they need extra hands to help on the floor they’d rather save money than actually pay people to work, the ED has stated she won’t have agency come into help cause she can’t “trust” them when reality she won’t pay the rates they ask and would rather have 3/4 pals work 4 floors which is why families complain so much, care takes time management cares even less and will throw all the employees under the bus instead of accepting responsibility to their actions, I was yelled at by management because they blatantly lie to families about what care we are actually able to give and when they find out from staff cause I don’t lie to them they yell at us, they don’t pay you nearly enough for any of the things you deal with this place should be shut down for the fact they have residents declining and dying by their hands cause they take anyone whose vulnerable enough to want to stay which is disgusting, some of the people there should’ve been in memory care or skilled nursing, LVNS aren’t even able to do the jobs they are supposed to do management has since said they aren’t able to pass meds which is what they should be doing not sitting around, do not work here do not put your elderly here they don’t care about staff or your family and the proof is the fact how fast people decline and die there for lack of care on management’s behalf. Disgusting place people are always getting sick including residents.

Our first impressions were very positive! Attention to detail is at a 5 Star level. The services and amenities for people of varying needs are amazing.
It’s always a heart-wrenching experience for any family to arrange for long term care.. There is no way as a daughter, I could provide a fraction of the activities and socialization Mom will get at Belmont.
An added bonus is how family friendly it is. Visits and occasional outings are welcomed and the ability to join her in the dining hall is a nice option!
The Circle of Friends will encourage socialization and activities.
I can’t imagine a better place for a parent or relative who needs a little extra assistance. Nothing we saw was remotely institutional and the activities geared to maintain brain heath!

Belmont Thousand Oaks is a wonderful place.  They do such a good job of hiring people who really, really care.  The pals are wonderful and so are the enrichment leaders.  The programming for Circle of Friends and the Neighborhood (memory care) is top notch.  Collette who is in charge of this aspect is beyond helpful and amazing.  The residents are happy and engaged because the people who work here genuinely care about them.

Beware of this facility and please check frequently on your loved one. Memory care is terrible, they are constantly short staffed, the food is horrible, residents left unattended wandering facility with no care givers in sight, medications not given on time or not at all, frequent resident falls. There were some loyal and great employees but there were some that were suspect. The director unapproachable and not truthful. Don't believe what your told, I was told not to move my loved one I would regret it. My loved one declined so rapidly I moved them to new facility and is now a completely new person. Thriving, healthy and happy . I would never recommend Belmont Thousand Oaks

Belmont Village Senior Living hosted the community resource group Moving Seniors Forward for lunch today and I want to express my appreciation. The facility is beautiful, the staff are loving and caring, and I so appreciate everything they are doing for our seniors.
