I have had excellent results from social services here in Beaufort County since I moved here in December 2022. I helped a guy get a cell phone and a fishing license here. They handle SNAP EBT (food stamps) and Medicaid and they helped me establish residency in Beaufort County so I could get a library card. They also do emergency assistance with utilities. Everyone here is very friendly. If you need help I highly recommend that you visit them.

Absolute liars and thieves.

BEAUFORT COUNTY, NC STOLE MY CHILDREN WITHOUT A JUDGE'S SIGNATURE, THEY'VE DONE NOTHING BUT THREATEN, NEGLECT AND ABUSE MY CHILDREN. THEY HAVE CAUSED MY ENTIRE FAMILY TREMENDOUS SUFFERING. THE SOCIAL WORKER STALKING US WAS NEVER REPRIMANDED, SHE WAS EVEN ALLOWED TO DRIVE MY DAUGHTERS TO SCHOOL, ALONE!!!!

FOR 5 DAYS OF TRUANCY THAT HAVE SINCE BEEN PROVEN WERE ACTUALLY 2 EXCUSED ABSENCES AND 2 UNEXCUSED ABSENCES.

ATTENDANCE CHARGE HAS BEEN DISMISSED!!!! BUT YET THEY HAVEN'T GIVEN ME MY CHILDREN!!!! THEY HAVE HAD THEM SINCE JANUARY 27TH AND HAVE ALREADY STOLEN MY SON'S DISABILITY CHECK EVEN THOUGH WE HAVEN'T HAD THE ADJUDICATION HEARING. THEY'VE ALREADY TURNED IT OVER TO PERMANENT PLACEMENT AND FOSTER CARE, FOR 4 DAYS OF ATTENDANCE, THAT HAS SINCE BEEN DISMISSED!!!!

I am being stalked by one of their social workers. I called and reported her, however, i need to put it on record up here. She's sat at the end of my private lane, in her personal car, and watched me. Visited my neighbors. When I came outside and started to take pictures and video of her, she left in a hurry. She seems to be infatuated with me. Asking my oldest daughter extremely weird questions ab me.....that have no relation to my children. She waited until I walked to the bus stop to get my youngest child and tried to get my 13 yr old daughter to let her into our home. I've already explained, in detail, on multiple occasions, she is not welcome in my home or to call my phone. My next step is to file charges. She has a serious problem with the word no. This is over ATTENDANCE. 5 days past the limit 🤔. Beware, she dresses like a "woman of God". Wolf in sheep's clothing type jazz. Creepy as hell to boot. .

In my experience being here, they are prompt in getting you seen, so the wait here is not long at all. They are very friendly and I've had to deal with them for years and they have always been compassionate to my needs. They keep to the Hippa Law, which is wonderful. I have never had a problem coming in here. The people at the counter are very informative and sweet, every single one.

Patient, kind, helpful ppl who take the time to check in with you or certain changes needing to be documented/filed/updated, as well as the status of your case & imperative info required to keep your benefits active.

The building itself is clean; it's employees appeared happy & attentive, not overworked & underpaid.

I dislike how every-time I call not one of the social workers can pick up. I have called multiple times to ask one question on my policy and it takes me directly to voicemail, which is fine I understand they may be busy, but then they don’t return your call until 1-2 weeks have passed.
I had to call multiple times to get a response from someone and by the time they returned my call I had my issue resolved.

I have had plenty of help but, when I really need it and I get transferred over to whomever it is, they never give me a call back until the last minute when I really needed it.
