I have enjoyed many shows at the Turnage theater. The free Saturday jams have been terrific. I just saw the Emerald city swing band and they were phenomenal. I’ve also enjoyed the Air Force band two years in a row and they were outstanding I thought that the entertainment Might start going downhill once Beth Strange the Director had left but honestly it’s been just as good. The new Director, not as vocal as Beth and her husband were. They would get up and the crowd about information regarding the Turnage and announce the act. Although the new director isnt vocal with the crowd its still been great. Good luck to her she has big shoes to follow.

Ive never been before, but the place was really nice. Its a very cool atmosphere. I went to a comedy show. The opening act was......well i hope they all have day jobs. Lol
But, the main show of comedians were really good.

We attended the annual Polar Express showing at the theatre. What a great family tradition. People were dressed in their pajamas and slippers, after the movie we all got cookies, hot hot hot hot hot chocolate and an ornament....it was the magic of Christmas bell from the movie. ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE this tradition.

We've been more plugged in with Arts of the Pamlico since moving closer to Washington and having a child, they do many wonderful events for the children. Love the acoustics in the old Turnage Theatre for any concerts.
