People are super friendly and genuinely want to get to know you. People remember your name which is rare. Church doesn't care about membership and simply focuses on teaching what the Bible says. This makes you feel comfortable when going since you know there aren't any alternative motives to you being there lol.

Everyone there wants to go by the Bible as best as they can which is refreshing to see. I've never seen that anywhere else.

Sermons are powerful and inspiring. BACC is very outward focused and has strong ties with the community around them. They are continually trying to help out in the community.

They have almost everything for every age too! Whether your looking for events for professionals (young and old), married couples, college students, teens, or even younger, they have amazing people everywhere.

I definitely love this place and highly recommend going to check it out for yourself! πŸ™‚

I visited many churches in my life. Some had great music, some had nice facilities, good organization... but it became clear to me by the people at the BACC that THIS was a place where I could truly grow spiritually (and not wander off!) People in our church care about living by the bible. It isn't perfect. Sometimes the music or the lessons aren't always mind blowing, but the Christians at our church make this place THE church.

I grew up going to the Bay Area Christian Church and I definitely couldn't ask for a better one. This church has always been my family and has really amazing ministries for families, young kids, middle schoolers, teens, and more. Now I'm a college student and the people in this church still help and challenge me to grow in my relationship with God in so many ways. BACC has helped me develop a desire to make an influence in my community and has taught me important lessons like compassion for people who have special needs. This is because BACC is so much more than just a church you go to on Sundays, it's a group that is truly devoted to changing lives.

The Bay Area Christian Church is all about family. Our family decided years ago that we would make this place our spiritual home, long before they bought the awesome building in Palo Alto. Our marriage and kids have grown up in this church and we wouldn't consider anywhere else. With the wide diversity of people and small groups, we find all of our needs met even as our needs have changed with time. It's incredible to see the families taken care of - from married with newborns to empty nesters and everything in between.

I have been attending BACC for many years starting when I was single until now married with kids. I enjoy the friendships, the diversity, the caring for special needs kids and the present of people from all life stages.

I have met most of my best friends through this church. Love being around people who strive to have a personal relationship with God and use their talents and love as an overflow into their help in the community. So grateful to be part of a great church!

I visited Sunday 12/29/19 and though I enjoyed the teaching and was able to apply it to my life, was very surprised by the service because the church's website seemed to present itself as if there was music, musical instruments, and more liveliness. However, when I visited the church, it was quite different. I wondered why the site didn't post any of the preaching's or the services but I now understand why. For a first time visitor, I wasn't sure what was going on during the entire service. The leader would just say "do such and such" and the congregation followed. No explanation for each segment of the service but awkward silence was present and then the next part of the service enveloped. The services was extremely mechanical as if it was being rushed through to finish. Though there was a drum set on the stage, there was only a few singers who snapped their fingers to keep beat. I later realized that this church is a Church of Christ church where they don't believe in having musical instruments which is strange to me being that the bible teaches to use instruments (harp, tambourines, stringed instruments, timbrels, etc). I am glad that they teach the bible but a little more information on their website of what their doctrine is and a lot more direction during service for visitors would help. The church does have a lot of young college people so that was very encouraging.
