February 19,2020. My boyfriend and I walked into Basta office in Long Beach. We were greeted by a staff member named Mario. I explained what was going on with the new owner that bought the building 8 years ago and how he was treating us. His attorney had someone served me eviction papers and it stated I did not pay my rent for January? I did pay it .Mr Hanson returned my rent for February? I couldn't take the harassment and rude emails and threats anymore. I had enough!! as I explained to Mario. He said? You've come to the right place. Basta means "Enough" I replied? I like that. Mario said? We have a very good.case. He asked about documents/ documentation? I said i sure do? We paid and I walked out of the office with no worries. It felt good. I asked God to help me with this eviction? God sent me a real live Angel...Matthis Chiroux. He won my case. This victory is all his. He won another court case and My family and I got to stay in our home .We been living in this old house for 14 years on October 8, 2020. If I have to do this all over again? Contacted the these people around late 2022 for an eviction case, was told to agree on getting 12k and having the eviction dropped with receiving half of it “in a timely manner” by the 7th of March, its the 18th and no sign of anything, no calls no emails no nothing and I am supposed to move out by april 7th? Not only that but the last time we have been in contact with them, they have raised their voice and yelled over me on the phone, what kind of law firm does that when im just asking for an update on the case? Seriously unprofessional. If I’m not told anything else on the case I believe there will be a bigger issue on their hands. This is not okay!

Came here at 4:50pm on Friday and door was locked, no answer on the phone. Been trying to get a hold of my attorney for days. Left two voice mails and one e-mail with no response. Had a UD and attorney got me $5,000 to move out in a month and I wouldn't owe back rent. Lamdlord had 7 days to make payment and didn't make it till 10 days. Under contract landlord singed because he was late the case would get dismissed and landlord would owe attorney fee's. Attorney accepted money anyways just so it would be less work for him. Now can't get a hold of attorney or anyone that works at the office.
