Great little library in Lake Geneva. The staff were friendly and attentive. We stopped in while visiting from Chicago and had a great visit!

I moved from a large town with a fancy library and was concerned that such a small town wouldn’t serve my voracious library habit. But I had nothing to worry about. I adore the library, the staff, and the innovative programs like being able to check out craft kits and of course Pi day. But the real hidden secret at Barret is their used book room. Walk downstairs any day they are open and it is used book heaven. A constant influx of new titles at such low prices you can spend $25 and need a wheelbarrow to haul your times to the car. Everything from bestsellers, first editions, and lovely antique books. Most books are $1 or $2 with a few special titles priced slightly higher. Oh and DVDs , games, puzzles and even free magazines.

This library serves children and the WB school system. That is its focus. That is why I frequent other Lake Libraries for more extensive Adult Programs.
The Bay is well known for its attention to school ... and only Wb school.

One of my most favourite places to escape to to get my library book fix back in the day! I couldn’t get enough with the Jerusalem Bible when I was first started studying Bible prophecy.
