The staff likes having too much personal conversation with each other and guests. Annoying and long wait times because they can’t focus on their jobs.

In office staff are helpful. Workers are not. They will literally wait until the last minute to tell you that you’re missing something. Even if you have everything very early on, they will procrastinate. Doing anything to your cases. Child support is non existent here. Just a mess.

Initially dreaded going after reading the reviews. However, i went on 8/24 around 3pm to drop off a document, there was no wait and the guy who helped me was personable and very nice, even made casual conversation with me and my son. The two other women were nice as well. Only problem is the number listed no one ever answers the phone.

Horrible. Horrible. No service at all. Like why is there not a corporate or state agency that check up on work quality in government jobs. In another government based job settings their is a standard they hold themselves too, a quality of care. They do not serve the people here and everyone knows it. Why have they not been shut down and relocated for better service of the communit is crazy. These people, including the security guard need to have all certificates, licenses, or diplomas verified for authenticity or for being up to date. They need refresher classes on human decency, an how to talk to the community or public. Hopefully someone important looks into things. You will not receive any help here.

I know there are many negative reviews but I can tell you when I needed Emergency assistance the women at the front counter were nothing but nice and helped expedite the case. There was a ‘hiccup’ the first day of applying which was not their fault but they helped fix it first thing the next morning. My family is beyond thankful for their assistance.

*a please remember that head wonderful individuals get screamed at everyday for things out of their control. Everyone should take a step back prior to ‘judging’ them for having a bad day and remember to show the kindness you wish to receive back*

I gave a 4 cause ms. Paige Johnson, is very professional, friendly and tried to help, every which way. I applied for asst. On Feb 4, they ask for 2 verification, I down load it on Feb,17 and March the first. I was told, and
had not received to expired food stamps, it s going on 6 weeks. Nothing, I feel reach out to the person, don t kee sending mail out, and we get it 2 months later. It s no one to answer, the phone, I believe this phone doesn't even work. .

Have been calling since September 2022 trying to reach someone in office. Listed phone number on Google does NOT work. Call on different days, at different times. Spend up to 3 hrs on hold waiting. Immediately beeps & goes to what I assume is voicemail?
Not sure how that is legal. It certainly isn’t ETHICAL AT ALL!
Many in the county need help. Many families, children, & elderly.
I lost my job in August. I NEED HELP!
I am going to call County Executives & State Representatives about this office.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!
If employees here are NOT interested in helping folx in serious need, they should stop taking our tax $ and find new jobs.
I pray none of these people ever need help if this is how they run the system!
