I'm absolutely greatful for the free RBT and other courses offered at APF. They were helpful and a stepping stone in working in the field with ASD and most other special needs. Word of advice for anyone working towards completing their 40 hours in obtaining their RBT. 1. You can not skip through any videos as everything is time stamped. 2. You must finish the course within 140 days, from my understanding, and 3, on a personal note, if you find the training boring and you don't have the patience to sit through the 40 hours, perhaps, this is not the field you should be in. Children with special needs deserve better. I'm horrified at some of the comments below.

I am very grateful for these courses.
But I would like to know why I can't print my 40 hour certificate? I have sent you several emails. A machine answers me. I did it in the time frame you ask for and when I get to module 17. it tells me that I can't print it. Please could someone help me?

First off the trainings do not bookmark were you leave off and you have to rewatch the whole video if life interrupts you in any way. Have to pause it to pee and come back.... better hope you don't get signed out. Twice now I have watched a whole hour long video and it didn't go to the quiz at the end of the video and then I have to rewatch the whole video again. It's just a faulty system overall so if you have another choice of RBT training go with that.

Secondly this firm and the field itself needs an ethics check. These people practice without looking at the long term implications of their science. They have no checks and balances with humanism and there were several times during the 40 hours I audibly cringed. Not to mention the just sheer unchecked consequences of unchecked capitalism and the autism industrial complex.

Thirdly the main trainer looks like a trust fund baby, the one who conditioned his kid to like baseball with ice cream, that one. He can be hard to listen to. The one who looks like Mr. Clean is far more succinct and if he did the training it would be done in half the time.

These trainings are so boring and not very helpful! Also also I hate that if I get kicked out of the website after watching almost the whole video I have to restart it from the beginning because they don't bookmark where you left off!! Other courses from other companies leave off right where u decide to stop but this one you have to restart the whole module. SO INCOVENIENT I'M DONE TRYING.
