My first encounter with AUM Foundation came several years ago when I learnt of their vision and how AUM was determined to open avenues and provide opportunities for under-resourced female students to become economically independent, socially responsible and successful in their own, individual career pursuits.
Since its inception, AUM's various Pathway programs and community outreach initiatives have created a significant impact on the lives of those who have walked into AUM's open arms and were able to equip themselves with valuable resources to succeed.
Let's not forget the admirable dedication of AUM's many mentors, supporters and team members who work tirelessly towards realizing the organization's vision. Their passion shines through, and I am impressed by their high energy and drive at every event that I've attended.
Today, in my opinion, AUM Foundation has flourished into a thriving, socially responsible organization...a rich tapestry that has earned a commendable reputation in our community. I am inspired by their accomplishments and suffice to say that AUM will continue to have my unwavering support for their noble efforts. As Maya Angelou eloquently penned in her 'Letter to My Daughter'..."try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud." AUM has certainly been a rainbow in the lives of many.
