I LOVE the Assistance League of Huntington Beach and they have the best Thrift Shop in town!!! It is run by amazing women who are all volunteering to make a difference in our community! The prices are a lot less than any of the other Thrift Shops around and they have such wonderful quality merchandise! I love that when I donate my used clothing or housewares to them or shop there, I am giving back to my very own community! They have so many amazing philanthropic programs like Operation School Bell that provides school clothes for those in need, scholarships for veterans, nurses, police cadets, or junior life guards, teacher grants, and even delivering teddy bears to local hospitals! They are a true treasure in our community!

Holly Rolf who works at the thrift store posts items on Facebook marketplace. I wanted to buy a 51 item dining set for my grandma's birthday. My grandma came with the photo of the set, and the store staff gave her a completely different set with many items missing only 20 items. 51 vs 20?! They do not offer refunds or store credit. We have to keep a set that we did not want (bait and switch). They had 12 people interested in the 51 item set and did not hold it for anyone, instead sent everyone there to shop around their store when the set was already sold and yet the listing on Facebook marketplace is still listed as available. I'm very upset that we are being penalized for their mistake.

Today, witnessed shocking mistreatment of a Hispanic mother and child by staff member Pat DeRush. Despite a language barrier, Pat's aggressive handling of the child and insistence on stroller policy in an unclear manner was unacceptable. Discrimination and lack of empathy have no place in customer service. NO DISPLAY OF NO STROLLERS ALLOWED!!

The Assistance League of Huntington Beach is an absolute gem of an organization! It's heartwarming to see a group of dedicated ladies volunteer their time and energy to make such a positive impact on our community. Their commitment to helping those in need is truly inspiring, and their involvement in our annual Green & Clean Shred event (11th Annual) shows genuine care for the place they call home. The Sackin-Stone Team is proud to support this stellar group and looks forward to many more years of collaboration and witnessing their continued growth.

Nice, clean store. Well organized. Good prices & quality offerings. Unfortunately, they're only open 3 days/week (I thought it was only 2), but I guess the workers are volunteers, so maybe that's why? Worth the trip if you can do a mid week visit, otherwise, too bad...

Good discounts! Although prices have gone up this year. Generally long lines to check out. More registers are need in the boutique section or else the boutique needs to allow customers to check out at other registers. Generally a great place to shop!

Spend your time and money else where! I understand with Covid-19 going on we're all having a difficult time adjusting. They're currently open Wed & Sat 11am-1pm. We came on a Saturday and the line was outrageously long due to the 12 person capacity. Once you get in, you only have 30 minutes to shop. THIRTY MINUTES!!?

My mom and I have paid and we missed the jewelery section. We were about to buy several pairs of earrings but they kicked us out and claimed that you're only allowed to make one transaction and then leave. If this is the case, then why open the shop at all? The experience was unwelcoming, rushed and the volunteers all don't really care.

You can try going on a Wed to see if your experience is any better but there are plenty of other non profit organizations out there that are more welcoming and organized than this place!!

Decent place to find what are usually reasonably priced glass and ceramic collectibles. Sometimes has vintage designer name brand clothing at good prices. Would be a better place for books if they dropped the price by half and didn't ruin the dust jackets by taping the price tag to them (please, try a pencil on the first page instead). The people working there are nice.
