My experience is always okay and I do get the information I need. The only thing I have a problem with are with the EBT cards they are issuing to me. I have received 4 cards so far within a whole year due to the strip on the card not working. I wish they could somehow fix this issue. It does give me a hard time when I’m paying for my food. I have to type in the whole card number. I miss when I could just swipe the card and enter my pin but I haven’t been able to do that with none of the new cards they send me. And also, at some locations, when trying to purchase food they won’t let me punch in my number. I have no choice, but to just leave all the food I was going to buy at the register. It is so annoying that I have to go through this in order to purchase food. I have never dealt with this in the past but for some reason, these cards are not working that they’re sending me in the mail. I also went to the DES location on Indian school thinking I could get a new card right then and there, thinking maybe that will fix my issue with the card.. I got a new card, and it worked for at least two times, until the strip didn’t even wanna work anymore.. And I HAVE talked to someone over the phone about this issue, but all they can do for me is just send me a new card. Which is frustrating, because none of them work!! I wish somehow they could fix this issue, it would make shopping a whole lot easier for me.

I went here on a mission and the task was completed! What I appreciated about this particular DES facility was the respect the security guard and employees had for the disabled and elderly. Those individuals should come first so they aren't in discomfort from the heat or long lines. I also felt at home with the old school vibe of how the facility was operating. ?❤️

Complete waste of time. There was already a line outside when i arrived about 45 min before opening and by the time doors were opened i was 6th in line inside, and still had to wait another hour in that line to be told she can do nothing for me except I'd get a call today by a case manager. When I asked if there's anyone there I could speak to now I was told they don't have case managers in-person there. So basically a waste of time and gas. No sense of compassion or emotion at all from employees there, like freaking slow zombies. Just miserable people. Took 20 minutes for more then 1employee "window" to be open. No seating while waiting. No accommodations for people physically unable to stand for hours in line there. I'm shocked this is acceptable from arizona department of anything honestly.

Security is worthless there... You walk in wondering if you will be assisted in where to go but you stand there lost felling hopeless & helpless.. DES workers are rude & disrespectful they tend to make things more difficult when they know your in need.. I been waiting over a month to get approved or denied for my benefits
