One of the best local fish stores I have visited in sometime. They have a great selection, clean tanks, and healthy aquatics. I was in town for work and rode by to check it out and wow! Ended up leaving with 3 rabbit snails (something I have been looking for) and 6 tetras! They all made the 2 hour drive home and now happy in my community tank. Evan is great!

We have been to this fish store a few times. It is a favorite destination for us. We bought a medium-sized fish tank there about a year ago. More recently, we bought 5 small fishes to add to our fish tank. Evan, the manager, is friendly and helpful. We enjoy talking to him and getting his ideas.

We had a great experience. Huge variety of freshwater fish, had to walk through a couple times just to see it all. Absolutely gigantic indoor pond in the back with monsters inside. Our new fish are energetic and healthy.

Great place. Partner & I have been going here for months for healthy fish (fresh & salt), coral frags, saltwater changes, f/t pinkies, even some med/large feeders as pets. Great team, and we like the new owner she's clearly working hard. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a good experience at this store! They have a variety of sea creatures and also reptiles. The tanks were spacious enough for the fish and looked in great condition. I don’t know much about reptiles, but from my knowledge, they were also kept in good condition. The people working were very kind, knowledgeable , and helpful. Tom was especially kind and let us try out a new product. We are not from this area but will be coming back!

Visited for the first time today with the goal of handling a few different snake species to help decide which might be a good fit. James worked with us and was extremely helpful and fun to chat with! We handled a rosy boa, which are hard to come by so that was very exciting, Kenyan sand boa, ball python, and bull snake. All the snakes were healthy, docile, and clearly loved by the staff. James also let me know that they can work on ordering specific morphs from local breeders if they don’t currently have the desired snake in stock.

Fish wise, the tanks were well maintained and filled with enrichment like live plants. Bettas are kept in individual tanks - no plastic cups! They had a wide variety of fish supplies, some that I have only been able to get online prior.

I also had the pleasure of handling one of their resident rats, Linda. She was extremely friendly and hung out in my arms and sweater while I checked out all the fish. All in all a great and fun experience!

Our first time going, they were knowledgeable and friendly. The staff took the time to talk to my son about his tank, what he has and what he wants to find what would work best. Will absolutely be back, well worth the drive (we live ~40 min away).

Hands down the best pet store I have ever visited the employee definitely went up and beyond to help my family and I…. all of the fish and tanks are absolutely beautiful and extraordinary.. the employee really brightened our day when he showed my family and I the breaded dragon and snake.. out of there cages.. today was my first time touching a breaded dragon and a snake 🐍 it was definitely a great experience… the employee was super nice… the employee was amazing.. he totally knows how to handle animals in a great way.. I definitely recommend Aquarium Outfitters Carolina to everyone!
