Our visit to the Apple Valley Railroad Club was fantastic! The train exhibition was impressive with various scenes. This is the coolest place ever for kids of all ages… whether you’re 2yo or 82 you will certainly feel like you’re in a new and special place like no other. The people are most friendly and welcoming. Must see.

Awesome, Bob was so kind he walked us through the facility and explained the layout, modeling of the near by towns from Asheville through to Saluda and beyond. Spectacular place and a real gem!! Helpful folks were able to help me with research questions, but they’re super fun and we’re so welcoming to everyone who came in. Admission is free but I would encourage anyone who visits to leave a donation to make sure they continue to keep this great place going for many more people to enjoy. For train lovers this is a must-see.

No matter what your age, you have to stop in and see all the trains at the old depot in Hendersonville. The people behind these displays, and all the hard work, should be commended for creating such a real and wonderous environment. Big or small, old or young, highly recommend a stop, and chat up all the knowledgeable folks there.
