Probably should rate this place because it is private property but I thought it would be a good place to see the new years fireworks. Except for the trees it would have been a great location to see fireworks. You could see about 5 different shows from all over town. As I was pulling up there was a pack of pigs, heard of swine, pod of pigs? Who knows, but there was a bunch of wild hogs and that was kinda cool. This is private property and you should probably not go there.
It does have a really cool Austin history. This was originally the farm colony of the Texas State School.
