I came here back in June seeking rental assistance to keep a roof over my child’s and I heads. I got referred to them from my college. Walking into the building I felt very happy and proud to see Black Women gathering laughing and happy. ( It was someone’s birthday, I came right after their lunch ) Furthermore, I was very happy and honored to see Black Women helping the community when in need.

ANYWAYS, These women gave me the total run around instead of saying “ NO , WE CANT HELP YOU “ Even went as far as calling back at one point asking for an updated lease and totally stopped talking to me after . Which is sad because I really thought that they was about business. Which taught me now since I am apart of S.I.S & Chrysalis I know how to Move/communicate good or bad rather then disconnect myself when another is leaning on my support.

ANYWAYS , God blessed me with the ability to keep my home for my child and I . This was a lesson to TRUST IN GOD & NOT in Man . So THANK YOU JESUS 🤍 you get all the glory and credit .

I am still giving at least 3 stars because at least There’s Black Women that’s trying to do something and set an example . Plus I Still loved the energy when I came for my Intake so Thank you Anyways Amelia🥰

Not great I did an intake for rental assistance they said I’d be called with updates I was not I had to call every time. when I did reach the manager I was told to pay a fee towards my rent and submit proof and I’d be good to go I did that and for days again no update. I call back after being told everything was all good only to find out it was not good at all my 30 days notice is up in a few days me and my child will likely be homeless as they now say they are not sure of funding and didn’t approve eveyone after giving the impression I was approved they could have been more clear so I could try other avenues instead of trusting a relying on there words just awful sad and stressful for me and my baby now terrible service man I was very patient
