My mom is happy going there, she’s making friends and there at the center they have many activities that I hear that they have for them to do. They paint, draw, dance, they have stationary foot bike peddles. They do bingo, have like cooking classes, and much more.
I got a tour of the facility, and the place is very calm. If the participants come early (9-9:30am), they have a light breakfast for them. In the meantime I get a chance to catch-up on a few personal things I have. Pick up time is by 3pm; with the participants having at least being at the center for 4 hours.
All the staff members are friendly and helpful.

My wife has been going to the Alzheimer's Family Center 5 days a week for about a year now. I am so grateful for the excellent service and safety AFC provides. I am kept informed of any upcoming changes of the food menu and of events. Feel wonderful that I can leave her there for about 5 hours while I go and catch up on chores to do. Would highly recommend for anyone who is getting overwhelmed as a caretaker and / or needs help placing a loved one in a safe environment.

I don’t even know where to start with our wonderful experience at AFC. The care, professionalism shown by every single staff member goes above and beyond the call of duty. My brother has been going there for almost two years and is now so sad to not be able to go due to covid CDC guidelines.
Praying they will open back soon.
Even as they are closed, they take the time to check on their patients to make sure they are doing well. The zoom classes have been a godsend to our family.

I have pick up passenger at Alzheimer's and transported back home. This is a special place for people with Alzheimer's they take care of them very well.
