These people came on my property while none of us were home and (stole) our cat. Them proceeded to wanna charge us $120 for shelter fees, then when I went to pay them they screwed up the payment (On Purpose) tried to scam me out our money and keep our cat.
This place is one big scam and needs to be shut down!!!

I called and told them I could not handle or maintain my animals no one never contacted me or even came out to our home the animals are wild and hard to catch. And when our neighbors complain they want to charge someone that's not fair if they were to do there job then we wouldn't be concerned about getting into trouble.

These people conspired with my neighbors to trap and steal one of my cats. Then when we show up to get him back they demand proof of ownership.
The cost to get him back is $70. The cost to adopt an animal $150. Hmm… This is a money racket.

We would really recommend this shelter for adoption. We got Arez (Rudy) there almost a month ago. He is amazing, and has been a great addition to the family. He is potty trained and very easy to train. Loves his toys and to run outside.

Our family adopted a beautiful dog from here last week. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Out of all the departments in Alexander county I've interacted with, this has been the most courteous and made my family feel welcomed. They took care of the 1year rabies vaccine and first vaccinations. They also chipped our new family member and neutering. No issues, would definitely recommend to anyone in the area to come visit and/or adopt.

I cannot say enough about the kind and helpful staff here. We are so very thankful for them and their services offered to the community. I have taken my dogs to them for many years now for rabies shots. The staff members are friendly, well mannered, their patience with us and the dogs both are much appreciated. Due to our schedules and our Australian Shepherds temperament it is just easier to go here. I will avoid the vets and tractor supply just to take my dogs here for vaccines because we are treated so much better with respect and greeted with patience. The staff will make you and your pets feel at home and not like another number or burden. We hope they know that their hard work does not go unnoticed. I am forever grateful for them and please be sure to take your fur babies here to ensure they are properly protected. The services provided are quick, easy and affordable at the Taylorsville NC Humane Society. Keep up the great work!!

I was impressed with the staff and facility at the shelter. They were all very friendly, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. The process of adoption went very smoothly. I highly recommend this shelter. 🐕🐶🐱🐈

Other than the fact I was promised this place was a no-kill shelter and then and then proceeded to tell me as me and my daughter had just given them the last kitten of the litter I was completely irate and ugly girl crying long story short I ended up going back I'm picking up one of the kittens and having to pay $75 to get back an animal that was already mine and after being lied to
