Being my first time here, I had a positive experience. The line is in the back of the food bank, and there are people lined up as early as an hour when they open at 2pm. Just make sure you have a copy of your DL or your DL handy when they ask, and they will make you fill out an application as well.

You get 7 items total, but it may end up be more than that. 2 hot and ready meals count as 1, you get one bread and dessert which is 1, so that leaves you with 5-6 more items to get. And you get 2 meats with maybe dessert as you leave. I know confusing and complicated. And you get to pick and choose what you want which is nice. These are quality food from Sam's Club, Costco, etc.

Only open on Fridays at 2pm, so make sure you line up early.

This place definitely discriminates. When my mother got her items, the lady took some of them out of her box and told her that she could only have 7 items, at the same time other people were carrying out full boxes of food, a couple of people even had wagons that were full of food. The security guard was rude to her as well. My mom is in her 70’s and asked if she could sit her box down and get her car because she couldn’t carry it that far. He snapped at her and told her no. The decent thing to do would have been to have her pull her car around and just take 10 seconds to put it in the car for since she is clearly elderly.

So I've been going for a couple weeks now(still new but know the ropes), they hold it every Friday from 2-5pm (I think.). So I can confidently review this place without much bias.

A lot of people leaving reviews are complaining about the older lady with glasses and I want to be very clear that she is NOT mean by any sorts. She is kind to children and always willing to help people out. The lady is strict, there's a difference, she is not mean or cruel. They have rules they have to follow regarding proceedures and applicants so yes if you don't at least try to work with them they will turn you away but for the most since i've been going they've never turned anyone away who was co-operative.

A lot of people don't understand how most food banks work so if it's your first time know that most of the food provided come from big chain grocery stores and are usually the "leftover" stuff from a prior day. Yes, sometimes the food will be pass the "best by" date but that does not make the food rotten. It's the same for breaks and baked goods, they will ALWAYS try to trash things that have mold or is obviously bad but sometimes things slip through, if you let them know they will help you replace it or let you grab another item. Please do not be detured by this, if you are hungry and need food there is no shame in eating food that's still good even if it's "left overs".

The staff are kind and friendly, I constantly see them chatting and hanging around people who wait in line to enter the foodbank. If you need help they will always try their best to help. They are busy and there isn't a lot of them so they're stretched thin.

I'm giving them 5 stars because I truely think they are a blessing to the community. If you are planning on coming here please make sure to bring a copy of your ID or Driver's License, you cannot apply without one. The printer at our local library is free if money is an issue. Make sure to bring bags for your food or a wagon, a water bottle, and an umbrella if the sun is out. You will be standing in line for a bit.

Be safe and be kind and remember there is no shame in recieving help when help is needed. <3

It's a great place to pick up free food that has been donated by other grocery stores. It helps those in need.

Stores that donate need to work on their logistics as far as expiration goes. I noticed several health hazards in regard to the perishable items. Some of that could have better served as compost.

First time visit and was turned away and told to bring a copy of my id. If that is the requirement then get a copy machine...not turn people away. And someone was right about the unruly staff member... lady was not nice at all. Won't return or refer. People helping people right 🫤
