If anyone wants an affordable sober house where the owner and her husband, the entire staff, plus the Tennant's, that truly care about your well being; then this is the place. Everyone involved are genuinely good hearted folks. I have been there twice as a Tennant and once as an employee. I can honestly say each and everytime it seems to get better, and it was wonderful the first time. I have experienced seeing growth in programmers and in the program itself. It's a beautiful thing watching ppl succeed and turn away from the strongholds that hinder us from our Devine purpace. Keep up the good work Aim high! I luv all the people involved. Thank you for all of it.

This is my second review of aim high sober living nonprofit.
I know that I am the person that has to take each step and if responsible for my own recovery and my success.
But I would like to take a second to point out the remarkable ness of the owner. Ms. Myra Martinez
She's always had my best interest made tough decisions and always did what was best for myself and the program.
She's fought for me battle for me never threw me under the bus.
Even when I made a mistake and it was time for me to exit the program she made a decision that was based on what was best for me and my future.
And thanks to her and the decision she made that day I get off for July 11th and I have my own one bedroom apartment and she showed me how to get funding to assist me with the rent it's just phenomenal this is the greatest program I've seen.

I entered into Aim High Sober living over a year ago, and my journey into this program continues on to this very day. Truthfully, there is not two other people in all of California that I respect more than Mayra and her right hand Steve. Their heart and soul is dedicated to the Tennant's of this establishment. They are not just changing lives, they are saving lives. Myself and many others are a Living testimony to that. During my duration here, I have seen first hand the changes in people's lives. It is a beautiful thing indeed. I thank God above for using Mayra as a vessel in making a difference in people's lives, and the community. My prayers remain with these men and this place. Aim High offers so many resources for assistance, para programs, and jobs, and will help you implement these as soon as you enter the program. May God continue to bless this place.

I was released after doing 25 years, I was paroled to a different sober living home, there I couldn't receive visits weekend passes or even obtain a job. I thought I was locked up all over again, I reached out to Mayra Martinez from Aim high sober living and asked if she had any room, I explained my situation and to be honest she went above and beyond to get me transferred to her sober living home where I was able to get the programs I needed the freedom that I wanted and was able to obtain two jobs. I can honestly say that aim high was the best sober living home for me for the simple fact that it is a positive environment good location and not only that I was able to see and spend time with my family. So again thank you Myra and aim high sober living and all those that fund the program, you guys made a difference in my life.

Myra Martinez and Aim High Sober Living facility were a God sent blessing. I had just been released after 27 years 13 days of hellish incarceration and the transitional home I was scheduled to go into had given my bed away, Myra took me in without hesitation and was essential to my transition back into society. Myra truly believes in rehabilitation and second chances and works diligently to help you succeed. She never tires and goes above and beyond to ensure that you have every possible opportunity at a second chance. I have been home for a year now, I have a decent job and was recently married to my childhood sweetheart, none of this would’ve been possible without Myra Martinez and Aim High. Thank you so much for everything.

Sincerely
Charles LaFayette

My name is Aswan. After being incarcerated and coming from Rehabilitation Program. I came to AIM HIGH sober living which is owned my a wonderful woman named Myra. When I walked through the doors I was welcomed with open arms. She believes in second chances and helping those to reach their goals and aspirations in life. She even goes out of her way despite how busy she is to make sure that we have everything needed to succeed. This was a opportunity that has allowed me to get my life together and continue to stay on the right path. So if your tired of living your old way of life and your ready to make a change AIM HIGH!!!! with Aim High Sober living. I promise you won't regret it.
