Re-evaluation appointment at this facility located deep in an industrial park. The building on the inside is super clean and modern. We (wife and i) quickly realized it's the same place I had my original evaluation from approx 5 years ago. It was nice to see a couple of familiar faces. Except this time, it was 50% less crowded. Met with a friendly clerk at the intake window.
My young evaluator (is there such a word) was super nice AND professional. He came up to where we were sitting stating my name. I asked how he knew who i was. He said from my picture on file with them. He too performed the physical walk through. Thank you, young man, for your kindness.
Overall, the process was less than 20 minutes. The wait time for my ride back home was long.
A colleague complained he had been waiting for so long. He checked with Isaac and was told he was not even in the schedule to be picked up. I encouraged him to download the app and showed him in detail its functionality. We didn't have to bother Isaac as the app was accurate with our pickup information
I am so blessed to have access Transportation in my life. Thank you thank you thank you

The access location is COMPLETELY MESSED UP. IF YOURE COMING HERE AND USING GOOGLE MAPS, IT WILL TAKE YOU SOMEWHERE THATS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE LOCATION. COMPLETE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE STREET 4 FOOTBALL FIELDS AWAY FROM THE ACTUAL SECRET LOCATION. HOW DID I FIND IT? THE POLICE, AND THE POLICE COULDN'T EVEN FIND IT. FOR A PLACE THATS SUPPOSED TO ACCOMMODATE SOMEONE BECAUSE OF PHYSICAL DISABILITIES, THIS PLACE DOES NOT MAKE IT EASY AT ALL. SO AGAIN. IF YOU ARE USING GOOGLE MAPS, IT WILL NOT!!!!!!! TAKE YOU TO YOUR DESTINATION. IT NEEDS SERIOUS SERIOUS UPDATING. GOOD LUCK

I went to my first in-person assessment with Access LA paratransit today, as recommended by my VA Hospital’s social worker.

Jorge, the driver, arrived 7 minutes before the scheduled time before arriving at my house, and the driver was so good at driving that I almost fell asleep on the way there and back. Also, Jorge was so kind and sincere that I was able to forget for a moment that I was a disabled veteran.

When I arrived at the Access LA office in the morning, the staff greeted me from the moment I got out of the van, and Destinee, the receptionist, greeted me with a sunny face.

The examiner, Danielle, started the interview right away without a single minute of delay, and I could feel that she asked thorough questions and understood the applicant.

I felt that everyone was working together as one. I am grateful for the great experience.

its useful place to the people who can't make it by bus or walking they offer help in transportation in a good fees they are professional and helpful they are always willing to help

One start review no zero star option it's ridiculous how they ask people if they take medication or do you have any medications I can see in the interview this program is for if you have any disability not what drugs you take

Nice place, looks new. Not really sure why interviews have to be in person. It was pretty busy. Lots of waiting around with nothing other than a 5 minute informational video on repeat. There are restrooms and 3 vending machines, although the refrigerated one was pretty empty except for Crustables and the beverage machine was pretty empty (I tried 3 different times). Every staff member we dealt with was really nice.

Was hung up on 3 times by the app technician department. Cannot book a trip on the app because of address issue that can be resolved immediately, but how when you CANNOT reach them!!? Frustrated and isolated
