My therapist here, Tami, is an awesome therapist. She’s been my therapist for a few years. I haven’t had any other experience with any of the other therapists at Access but I’ve heard good things about them. I haven’t had good experiences with past therapists, so I was hesitant when I started seeing my therapist, but she helped me realize there is good in the world.
I don’t know where I’d be without this place 🙂

I’ve been working with Erin at Access Community Therapies for my late-diagnosed ADHD and have seen substantial improvements. Erin’s understanding of ADHD and her ability to tailor her approach to my needs have been great. The strategies she introduced have been effective, making a difference in my daily life. The clinic provides a professional and welcoming environment, enhancing the overall experience. I appreciate Erin’s support and recommend Access Community Therapies to anyone looking for ADHD support.

I love my therapist from here, don't get me wrong. Its been the best mental health care Ive ever recieved.

However, I have a friend who was being seen by a different therapist. They were recently scheduled for an appointment with their therapist who they loved! But when they reached out for their appointment, they were informed abruptly that their therapist was no longer working there. There was no mention from the therapist at prior appointments that they were leaving the practice or any information from the director. It is common practice for most mental health and medical professionals to provide 30 days notice of change to ensure their clients are taken care of and transitioned to a different provider. Worst case even just a week of heads up. It is extremely difficult to get in with a therapist post-covid and often has weeks to months long wait lists.

They reached out to the therapist who was extremely professional and did not go into any details of what happened, only that they can no longer see them and well wishes on their future care.

While the circumstances are unclear as to what happened, it is extremely unprofessional from the sake of the director that they as a client were not informed of the change and had to stumble across the fact of what happened. I sincerely hope that there is a huge improvement of the communication of the director of this practice. Again, not the fault of the therapist as I'm sure there was some sort of circumstance that they weren't able to inform the clients. But the director of the practice has the responsibility to inform clients of changes, especially when it is abrupt. It is unethical to leave patients hanging. This cancelation of care has devastating effects on my friend who I can only console and recommend finding a different therapist that is not affiliated at Access Community Therapies. But again, they are looking at least at several months wait for a trained therapist in the areas of need.

If they had such an abrupt cancelation, I'm sure there are many other clients who are also facing similar repercussions. Please do better. It is difficult enough to find a therapist that individuals can connect with, let alone to deal with have something so abrupt happen with no clear communication. I will be extremely upset if this situation were to happen to me and the therapist I am seeing.

I had terrible experience with Ozaukee Community Therapies. I haven't been able to see my kids for almost 2 years. Even though the GAL ordered me to be able to have supervised visits last year. Erin Perez has plenty of time to update her Facebook every day, but takes her weeks to respond to an email. It's bad enough how the courts and the law treat fathers nowadays. Children need fathers in their lives, but apparently Ozaukee Community Therapies doesn't agree. I am a good man and a good father. I have worked with Special Need kids for over ten years, but I have been treated like I am a monster when it comes to my own children. Funny how one of the 5 star reviews is from Erin Perez's Husband, Steve Hughes and another 5 star review is from her son.

Erin Perez is terrible. She is the example of people getting into psychology purely for the money. She claims to have experience with autism/mental disabilities. I'm afraid she does not. It is a shame, because she has somehow managed to contract some great therapists with Ozaukee County Therapies. I hope her reputation doesn't varnish theirs. Please hesitate before enrolling your children in her "socialization sector". Or at least, make sure she has some background information on your child before you agree and .ale payments.

I really appreciate the clinicians here. Cynthia Carlson (Cindy) is amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone. She’s been a huge help to my family during a difficult time. Erin Perez has also been incredibly helpful as well.

Therapists are very friendly and understanding. They worked hard to find the perfect therapist for each member of our family. Communication is great, and the progress that’s been made has been outstanding. The team at Ozaukee Therapies is top notch - and would recommend them to anyone.

If you want to be overlooked by people being trained with no real life parental experience please give them your time and Money. They have no concern for your child’s well being. If zero stars were an option that is what I would rate them. Please find any other option if you value your time with your children.
