Was in the program from the ages of 7-11 from 2005-2009 and I loved it here! The only group home that felt like a family and gave us freedom and fun stuff to do and go! Nothing but great memories and great things to say! The best part of my life was lived here! I’m sad the group home closed down but happy that they are helping moms and kids. I have since gotten adopted and had my name changed (used to be Kristen Eastwood) am now 25 and am living a great life thanks to the guidance of staff from Rancho Damacitas.

My experience there was great i felt as though I learned a lot there also I had lots of there as well and I think it is a great place to go when people are getting close to going home but need just a little more help not a lot to the point that they need to go to a treatment center but just a little.

I was here from 1998-2004 ages 12-17 and I can't say enough good things about this place, There was house parents and fun activity's and my brother and sister were there as well, honestly got to do more things than I would of at home Disneyland, Ropes, The Beach, Big Bear ect...Would recommend for kids in the system , The staff actually cared about me and not just the money.

Sadly, no longer open for foster kids. I hope the staff gets proper training for the new program.
