Doesn't help mentally ill children/teenagers at all, they don't want to listen to you they want to listen to the parents. And once you become an adult with no ability to get there or any idea what your doing because you never received the help you desperately asked for? Well guess what! you no longer get to have it and they'll just straight up drop you! A therapist there watched me actively dying from abuse, I was so skinny and had a bloody arm every appointment but she didn't call csp or anything! She just basically told me "if you did what I said then maybe you'd be better" LIKE HELL I WOULD BE! IM BEING ABUSED!!!!

Take this with a grain of salt, since I have never been a patient here, however, when I went in with a friend to their appointment I was stunned at how much every worker here seemed like they hated being there and how eager they seemed to take their frustrations out on patients. The other reviews really confirm what I immediately suspected.
I have met nurses and receptionists with bad attitudes and I am sympathetic, truly, it's not easy work; but this place really crossed a line. There are clearly some real problems here that need to be addressed if this place ever hopes to effectively provide healthcare.

This place is an absolute joke!! Supposed to be counseling but literally do not know how to treat or speak to children!! Can't treat autism because obviously it's more important for a family therapist to go out of her way to be disrespectful to my grandson in every way. Speaking poorly to him trying to purposely trigger him and just out right disrespectful!!!! I am personally calling the governor office, this place has no business being open. The counselors have no education as far as I can see . They just take up space to collect a check and I have had it

CROSS THAT OUT UPDATE

So far so good kind people my case Manger and thearpi are beyond amazing. I'm from down state didn't get nearly the help I do here. Thank you<< FALSE MY THEARPIST MY CASE MAMAGER BEYOND AMAZING. BUT THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. A PLACE for the mental but they try and force you to see doctors that clearly make you feel uncomfortable. After sayin for 3 months the doc has not been working for you that I have anxiety and panic attacks before going to see my doc. That should not happen. Not only was I told from the beginning I could switch docs if need be. For reasons like this. The only way they would switch my do. Is if they switched my case manager and THEARPIST THAT HAS BEEN HELPING ME MORE THAN ANYONE THERE. SO NOW I HAVE 4 DAYS OF MEDS LEFT CAUSE THEY LIKE TO FORCE THINGS ON PEOPLE'S I WILL BE WRITING THE BOARD AND LEAVING COMPLAINTS ITS SO MIND BOGGLING TO ME. SO I SUGGEST JUST THEARPY AND CAE MAANGEMNT. THE DOCS ARE A JOKE.

Called after hours for assisting a friend with getting in connection with affordable therapy in the area, and I was told to call back later. What is the point of taking calls after hours if you don't even have a list of available resources to refer others to when yours isn't available?

I saw a therapist here about a year ago and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
She missed or was late to several of my appointments, she treated me with disrespect and when I reported her, the investigation filed all of claims as “untrue”. Basically the therapist said it didn’t happen and the company left it at that.
I overall ended up not feeling safe or confident that I would be treated the way I deserve to be treated or that I mattered as a person to them.

I have been trying to get my son in to get a therapist since June of 2022. I just called the lady three times today and left voicemails and still received nothing. He also received an autism screening and in the report they called me and him both by names that are not ours and added things that were never said. Don't waste your time with these people.

I have been with CMHCM for about 2–3 years now. Every visit I’ve had with Dr. Lyon has normally been good, until yesterday. The nurse, Michelle, who usually checks me in, is always great and super friendly. Unfortunately… she wasn’t there this time.
I can’t remember the other nurse’s name, but it seemed like she was having a rough day, and I can understand that because I have them too. However, when patients are coming in for mental health support, it’s the nurse’s duty to help, not judge or scold them like children. As she was taking my blood pressure, I raised my arm because I thought she was going to put the pulse meter on my finger. She immediately shoved my arm back down and scolded me for doing so. After that, she tried to act friendly, asking what I was going to school for, but the way she questioned me felt more like an interrogation than a conversation. When I answered, she ignored my responses and just kept pressing with more questions, as if my answers didn’t matter. She went on to insinuate that I wouldn’t be able to find a job with my degree in such a small town, and kept pressing, “So what city are you going to live in then?” as though it was some very pressing issue. The whole interaction felt invasive, dismissive, and unnecessary. I really hope she starts having better days soon, for her sake and for the sake of the patients she works with.

This place is amazing. My therapist, case manager, and employment specialist are all extremely helpful and kind. I haven't had a bad experience with any of them after months of treatment and I always feel like my time is valued. The staff in office are always kind and helpful as well. I highly recommend this place.

If I could give a zero review I would. What a waste of time with this place. My son clearly has ADHD. I took him to this place for an assessment. My son has no reason to lie. He told me that they said they think that he has ADHD. I stopped there today to get a paper stating this to bring to his Dr. appointment tomorrow so we can see if he can get some meds so that he can actually hold down a job. The guy behind the counter was chatting it up with a woman and they were whispering. And suddenly the paperwork says ADHD has been ruled out!!…. My son leaves ice cream out, he's put bacon in the silverware drawer, and leaves burners on. To top all of it off he has had 200+ jobs due to a lack of focus. This place should be closed down. They don’t help people!!!
