They don’t seem to want to learn to do better. They don’t listen, they don’t pay attention, there are typos all over official documents and then they don’t keep up with what’s happening in their own department. There is a website it’s listed on the bill for easy bill pay; I watched them literally yelling at an older woman to take a check to a different location even after she asked about paying online. It was like the moment they knew they didn’t have to they were not going to help her.

The city of cahokia is a joke..they never answer...trying to pay bills no way to do so..no online payment no after hours number to make payment. This is unprofessional

If only it were possible to leave negative stars. We have to pay three different water companies: 2 for sewer treatment (it takes 2?) and one for actual water. Not a single employee at either sewer company can provide an adequate response of why each is needed or to justify their pricing structure. A bunch of con artists who have basically strong-armed protection payment out of customers unfortunate enough to live within their jurisdiction.

I stay right up the street from the water company. I'll get up there to pay the water bill. Then you they say you can't pay it there. You gotta go up to upper Cahokia. Then I get all the way up there and I have the money, and I'm it's on my card. They don't take debit cards no more. They only take cash now. I don't understand these people here. There's such a bad review if you don't pay. What is the point of the water company being right there? If you can't pay it right there. That is so out of place for me.

This place is such a ripoff I had to pay a bill that was outrageous due to them not reading the meter correctly. Spoke to several people that work there all were no help! My bill normally runs $45 max. So I received a $340+ bill for one month and it read that I used 300,000gallons of water !!!The manager pulled my account and said well “It’s steady going up two months ago you used 2,000 gallon then 3,000 then 2,100 gallons now 300,000 gallons”. I had no choice but to pay this ludicrous bill along with the water treatment bill that is based off the water bill. She also accused me off having a leak or the toilet running as to why the bill was outrageous which both we’re lies! 3,000 to 300,000 gallons a mistake on their end that I had no choice but to pay.

Bill has almost doubled over the years used to be set at 23.50 now is 40 a month for sewer services. I dont understand how something in a fixed amount can double in 8 years. It isn't like you are paying your people double now. Materials have not doubled, why my bill. No explanation, no one at the office knows anything. Working with them is the worse than going to the dmv.

NEGATIVE STARS IN MY EXPERIENCE. I WAS TOLD YESTERDAY ABOUT 12 THAT SOMEONE WOULD BE HERE BEFORE 4:30 TO TURN MY WATER ON AFTER PAYING OVER THE PHONE. HAD BEEN CALLING SINCE 4, BUT NO ONE HAS ANSWERED THE PHONE. SO MY FAMILY HAD TO GO WITHOUT WATER, FLUSHING WHICH IS FREAKING UNSANITARY, NOR TAKE BATHES FOR SCHOOL. I CALLED THE EMERGENCY WATER LINE THEY GAVE AND THE MAN TELL ME HE CANT HELP ME NOTHING HE CAN DO FOR ME AND HE CANT CONTACT THOSE PEOPLE. HERE IT IS THIS MORNING AND I'VE BEEN CALLING SINCE 8:30 WHICH IS WHEN THEY OPEN, THE PHONES WERE RINGING WITHOUT ANSWER NOW THEY GO STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL 😡
