They also offer several high quality college routes to go in affiliation with their church body (Wisconsin Lutheran College/Milwaukee, Martin Luther College/Saginaw, Bethany Lutheran College).

Northwestern Publishing House (nph) takes care of a lot of their publishing.

Over there you would also find the Multi Language Publications ministry as a product department at nph. It's publishing Christian literature in many international languages, some of these items are even for free for download.

Kingdom Workers and WELS Christian Aid and Relief are two organizations tied to this church that are engaged in helping with practical needs during disaster situations or in economically challenged regions and demographics in various places at home and all around the world.

WLFCS Wisconsin Lutheran Family and Child Services is a professional counseling organization in relation to this church.

If you're military you can contact their chaplaincy service e.g. in Europe in the proximity of many bases overseas.

Definitely not everything is "perfect" on a human or even on the institutional level! Far from it.

But it's a place where you can find answers for detailed questions about biblical doctrine and the right dogmatic stance on many things unanswered for many believers today.

A host of international sister churches and WELS mission locations are given around the world.

The Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference (CELC) unites the former ones into an international network of churches sharing the same faith in the Bible. CELC is split into different regional conferences (Europe, Asia, ...).

WELS has a tremendous network of multilingual church congregations throughout the US.

That includes mainly a nationwide network of Hispanic church ministries with local congregations and a smaller network of Hmong churches, often sharing their place of worship with a local English language congregation.

There's of course also a theological seminary part of this church, offering academic degrees in theology. It's Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon/WI. There you can find also a theological essay file archive and non-traditional pastoral education for minority languages like Spanish and Hmong.

In one of their colleges you can find a deaconate type education program, as well as the prep school for the pastoral education.

Like already said: don't judge a book by its cover and God's ground staff and its behavior isn't the same what His important message to us is and it's not what you can learn about the doctrine and what you wanted to learn and know always.

I've attended a WELS school and currently go to a WELS church. The school was a great experience with teachers who truly cared about my education. Everything was gospel centered, and the education I received was substantially better than the education of my public school friends. I was also spared from the political and social agendas being pushed in public schools. The church I attended has a pastor who is excellent at both the pastoral care side and the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.

I went to a WELS school in AZ from K to 8. It was great going to school where we prayed and the staff cared about us. Small class sizes meant learning could be specialized. When I went to a public high school, I was several years ahead of my peers and some of the stuff we were learning my sophomore year I had already learned in 8th grade. I attended a WELS church now, and I'm hopeful that I can send my kids to a WELS school. Overall, my experience with this Synod has been excellent.

I was physically abused and assaulted by more than one teacher, and the church, school and synod turned away. Not the biblical turning the other cheek. Others in my family also suffered abuse at the hands of the schools and nothing was done. They failed me and my family.
They have no regard for public safety or health. They offer no support for vaccination or masks. They are a super spreader across the country and world.
