This week I had a friend who was ready to go get help with his addiction. Recovery Awareness Foundation was able to help with some of the costs associated with getting him into treatment. This was a huge service which allowed the person to go get the help they needed. I am especially grateful for this foundation because they are truly passionate and caring. So I guess I’ll start off by just telling the story someone very close to me needed immediate help life is falling apart and they needed help immediately so through friends of recovery from Numbers that I got I found a good place out of state for this person to go everything was supposed to be good when we got there insurance said we needed a ridiculous co-pay even though they have amazing insurance getting ready to leave and except the situation as hopeless again and a friend offered to help with that co-pay and that friend is involved with this foundation and I am forever grateful to that person he knows who he is I can’t say enough of the miracle that happened thank you. That was the therapeutic value of one addict helping another for sure

Truly an exceptional organization. I had a very good friend of mine who of which was looking in every way possible to get into a facility out of his area but had no way possible to get there. Another good friend of mine told me to reach out to RAF and without hesitation they were able help transport him to the facility. Very grateful to have organizations like this available during such an epidemic.
