I truly appreciate how helpful, kind and understanding everyone is at this Salvation Army location. The wait time is not long and they set up and organize the food for you in box(es) on a cart to take to your vehicle. Thank you ALL so very much for all of your hard work and everything you do !!!

Not trying to be ungrateful because I just moved here and can't get anything. Just got a job but need food... I waited about 2 and a half hours to actually be seen and fill out paperwork... And we got our box for 3 people and it has enough to feed us for literally one day....and some snacks...and EVERYTHING was expired. Everything had gone bad, was mushy, and even growing mold on it... I have a family to feed and feed properly and I was told I can count on them and found that I cannot. I am HIGHLY disappointed....how am I going to eat something that's already expired...i just dug through fruit full of squish and mold to find the useful part of it. Its safe to say that I will NOT be coming back here. Its a literal danger to mine and my family's health....im actually really disappointed and sad.

The Salvation Army is the best organization, serving the community of Mesa, Az. Social Services, Senior Meals, After School program. Sunday worship service with a brass band, Bible study, women's group and volunteers. Come and be a part of the family of God.

Stand two hours in line just to be told they are not open today even though the sign and website says they are. No notice letting the public know they are closed, just a waste of time. So much for feeding the hungry........
