I love it here. We try and go every two weeks. All the workers are amazing and so helpful. The quilts they have on display are beautiful. My kids love going upstairs to the Young Adult/Teen book area. Such a wide variety of books, fiction, cooking, SAT prep etc
Update: Wr don't get to go every two weeks, but when we do go the staff and selection of books are still just as amazing.
If they don't have a book you want, just put in a request and they will get it if they are able to.

Beautiful playground but no shade. A great early morning or evening place for children in summer

I have had staff help me with printing costs iao $3.40, very kind of them, thank you.

No color printing, they should get that. Caused me a transportation problem to go elsewhere for the service.

However, I got falsely accused of cussing out a staff member when my mental disability caused me to get up suddenly, walk toward the door, talking to myself. I believe I swore. The library director, Ginger, literally called me and threatened me about it, and when I defended myself that I didn't swear at anyone, she confessed to having been mistaken, that I didn't swear at anyone but someone heard me swear and got offended. I had to tell the library manager, Kelly, about federal anti-discrimination laws because they threatened to ban me from the library if I continued to show symptoms of my mental disability. It's illegal.

Ginger also claimed to have footage of me swearing but refused to show it to me or give me a copy because it contained "personal information" such as other people's faces. According to the law, faces are not considered personal information like a birthday or SSN. Not only that, but Ginger promised to provide me a written transcript of the audio from the footage, which I never received. Ginger claimed that the footage shows me never having sat down when I know for a fact that I was sitting for a few minutes before I got up and left. I believe Ginger is straight up lying, that's why I never got my "transcript."

I have seen other people with physical disabilities in that library, and it's shameful that someone with a mental disability has to deal with the managers' lies and harassment of having a policy book (it's that thick) laid in front of them suddenly while at the computer. Just shameful they would defend their policy applying to everyone but someone with a provable mental disability gets bullied. I hate going there.

I love visiting the local library whenever I get a chance. It is kind of like a second home to me. All the workers are always so nice and helpful and I always find a book, or more, to take home and read. If they don't have it, they will usually do their best to get it. My kids love going to the library to with me! ?
