Patrick at TMC was caring, compassionate and patient with my family while we were fulfilling our mom’s final wishes. The other employee we worked with informed us that our mom took too long to pass and was no longer a candidate to donate and that the funeral home would pick her up. The next day we went to the funeral home and they didn’t have her. Thankfully they called around for us and located our mom, at the donor network site in phoenix without our knowledge. Train your staff on how to effectively communicate with families and hospital personnel.

They didn't even bother to contact us and went around our back to the funeral home saying, not asking, that they would come to collect for tissue. The funeral home said that we as a family were going with a different donation company. Donate life then contacted that company, still not speaking to us, to tell them how they would split up our loved one. THAT IS NOT RIGHT! To treat a human like a product they can grab and cut up. We are beside ourselves with grief already and AZ donor has only made our pain and suffering worse. The AZ donor worker who was handling the case needs to do better.

Our Daughter tragically passed away back in 2016 and unbeknownst to us had been registered in Arizona as an organ donor since she was 18. At the hospital we were made aware of her wish of donation by the caring and thoughtful Staff from Donor Network of Arizona. They explained the Organ Donation process in a very compassionate and understanding way. From that moment on, my wife and I saw organ donation in a different light. Donor Network and Donate Life Arizona have helped us to heal and mend. For this, we are forever grateful for the work they have done.

Our son Steven was killed October 23rd 2021,our loss gave 2 woman in Arizona sight again.i have sent letters to them, what happened was not there fault and I m so happy a part of him lives on. The doner network has always been there for us to listen and do what they c, I can't help but miss my baby boy (19)

My husband and I unexpectedly lost our special needs daughter. She passed away at home and I was sad to think we could not donate any of her organs but the very next day I received a call from the Donor Network and asked if we are willing to donate Brooklyn's heart valves and it was the easiest decision and a way for our daughter to give back in a huge way knowing pediatric heart valves are desperately needed. Thank you for helping us understand the process.
