Love this annual light and art event on the Scottsdale waterfront. Amazing light displays and interactive art. It was very crowded this year so I would recommend a weekday for next year rather than the weekend

2023 was a pretty solid year. We attended on a Monday night, so the crowds were chill. We had Tapas Papa Frita afterward on the patio with live music. Great date night. It's free, interactive, artistically playful, and festive. Looking forward to next year!

Pretty uneventful. There was a fire show but it’s only once an hour we were told and only lasted a couple mins. Nothing else to do but walk down a side walk cross a bridge and walk down the other side and cross another bridge. Thousands of people wanting todo stuff with nothing to do. Seems like a waste of opportunity. Ideas- get some DJs, bring in more food trucks, how about some artists selling stuff? The only thing to buy was light up balloons for 15$ from people who don’t speak English. There was a roped off area where maybe you could get drinks, but no music and no one in there. Just empty tables. Needs a totally new group of people to organize next year.

Very disappointing. Worse than last year. We are so bummed because the first few years after we moved to Scottsdale this event was amazing…hopefully it will improve next year.

The food took a super long time which was fine. They gave us a bottle of champagne, but when the food came, it’s not very good eggs were overdone and not a lot of taste.

This event had a few different light exhibits that were available to see; however, the light displays for the most part were a little underwhelming. There were a couple of the displays that were oriented for young kids but they had long lines and it seemed unorganized. For some of these kid oriented displays there was no regulation as to how many or when kids could go onto a display which made it look chaotic. My family and I went on a weekend so it was pretty busy but parking was available close by at designated areas or at the mall after waiting in a line of cars for a bit. They also had very limited food booths and we felt like there were mostly only drinks available. They did have a decent musical performance. Overall the event was underwhelming, not what was expected based on pictures from the website, and seemed to be not worth it even though it was a free event. I would recommend looking at review pictures/reading reviews before going in the future and try to not go on a weekend if possible to avoid the crowds.
