My child’s pediatrician recommended this office for therapy, my teen does NOT have substance abuse history.
Our overall experience has been outstanding. The office environment is laidback and everyone we have encountered there has been so kind. I believe the therapy dogs name is George which is kind of cool to have. It’s easy to schedule appointments and insurance billing has been seemless. My teen goes here without complaint and likes the therapist they see, Melanie.
I would highly recommend this place even if your kid does not have history of substance abuse, and they are having just a stressful time in life or some anxiety, or just random things that a therapist could help with like school issues or grief or history of something traumatic as a child, bullying, etc…
I also want to note that my teen tried a few different therapists before and just did not respond well like they did at NotMyKid. So don’t get discouraged, I would recommend giving it a try, as NotMyKid has a completely different vibe than the other therapists offices we tried before.

I would love to talk up this program and say it's GREAT and all. I even used to want to work for this company at one point. THIS was until Iearned that the owner/starter of this fine establishment is the most despicable coercive human being to ever exist on this planet. He claims to be a "doctor" who has TONS of experience helping adolescent people. Well this couldn't be further from the truth. Most of his original patients are originally court ordered to go to this man and he even stuped so low as to own and operate the AZ drug monitoring program TASC and urine testing sites. This man is all about one thing MONEY AND PROFITS, at no cost will he stop. He's had many other allegations made against him to the point it's incredibly distrusting/disturbing. I was once was a patient and my life was so drastically ruined by him, all so he could earn another couple thousand by tricking MANY unsuspecting parents into things they CERTAINLY REGRET... Like I said I really wanted to work and help this program preform at its maximum potential, but sadly that will never be possible with someone like the person running the helm, who created the group is such a evil and degenerate human being. It's sad because I feel as if I could easily run and help a program of this supposed "caliber" But be able to reach many more people and help people avoid many of the mistakes that I have made in my life, and ones I have become accountable for, and HELP them but one thing still remains the same. That is my life was completely distorted/changed because of this man and it never had to be taken to the point of no return how it was and that's something he will never take "ACCOUNTABILITY" for/on because he's the truly "SICK" person in all of these scenarios which will eventually NEVER work to help your child. I will eventually be posting a real site and resources people can use to get the proper help from. Because trust me I know about 20 people who where "Not My Kid" attendees and guess how many of them are still alive with us today? ZERO (0) None of them live to tell the failure of this establishment built on greed and the unknowing trust to people who are more than desperate to help the ones they so dearly love <3 from the ultimate demise....

I feel help my kid will definitely help. We took classes to help my children they learned info as what you can go through and your body and I even learned what I didn’t know before I think this program is awesome for kids and I feel it will help with those that need it and there stories are so real because they actually went through it and you can see and feel the hurt. I enjoyed the classes and learned thank you to both of you
