We chose here because when we looked on Google reviews it was marked high and also said that it had food. It really didn't have food in the restaurant - it was a food truck on the outside and we were a bit disappointed because the choices were like hot dogs and hamburgers and we wanted something a little more. The vibe inside was really weird, although the outdoor area seemed kind of cool. There were gambling machines which I thought were kind of odd and I had to use the bathroom and wish I hadn't. The bartender was great and it was nice to get a cool drink. But I wouldn't go back again.

This is one of our favorite spots in Savannah. Love the open gated patio. I can have a cigar and a cocktail and people watching is fantastic. Since it's on the end of the congress street area, it gets the perfect amount of traffic. Food truck style mini kitchen available and skeeball, billiards and pinball downstairs. Bartenders are always fast, attentive, fun and welcoming. We had a large group and Amelia did an amazing job of keeping our drinks replenished with a cheerful attitude, which is sometimes difficult with a large boisterous group like ours.

Super unique spot! Great for large groups too as courtyard style once you walk in, but there is an entirely different covered section / bar top indoors further in too. Lots of TVs and friendly staff!

Food is grilled bar food. It's great at the end of the night. I wouldn't go here for the food itself. It's a gell of a party though. Pool table. Part of the bar is outside. Tons of choices for drinks. If they make it, they probably carry it. Bartenders were cool and courteous. Made fresh lemonade for our drinks. This place is off the chain on the weekend! Be ready to party!

I recently visited The Social Club in Savannah, Georgia, with my adult sons on August 2. We are Black, and as it was our first time in the Savannah historic district and at this restaurant, we took some time to converse and check out the scenery before reviewing the menu and walking over to the counter to order.

Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. The server, a white gentleman in his 40s, was incredibly rude and condescending. He spoke to us in a sarcastic and belittling tone, demonstrating clear displeasure in serving us. His disrespectful behavior made us feel like we were being treated as if it were the early 1900s.

Such conduct is unacceptable in 2024, or any time for that matter. It has no place in the restaurant industry or our world. We decided to cancel our orders and leave the establishment.

I strongly advise anyone considering a visit to The Social Club to think twice. No one should have to endure the kind of treatment we experienced.
