They placed me in a room that hasn't been cleaned. There's still a urine sample from someone else on the sink. I made them aware and they still didn't take care of it. The lady that called me in stopped and talked with another employee about their personal lives for a few minutes with me standing on swollen feet before leading me the wrong way down a corridor to realize we had to go back the way we came. Originally leading to a 1 star rating however
Everyone else was friendly answered all my questions and concerns explained in detail and left me very satisfied. If not for the initial experience i would give a 5star rating

Stayed overnight several nights with a friend who had pneumonia. She is in stage 4 breast cancer. First night they put her in a ward with infectious disease patients. We had to talk to the charge nurse to get her moved to oncology ward. Not impressed with the attention she got on that infectious disease ward. The ER was on the ball and the oncology ward treated her well - checking on her frequently. Word of advice to anyone spending the night with a patient - get a pool floater to use as an air mattress on the pull out bed in the chair. Or an air mattress for the pull out bed in the couch. Your back will thank you! 4 stars because a cancer patient should never have been assigned to a ward with infectious patients. Their reason for not putting her in oncology was lack of nurses that shift. Cardiac ward would have been safer for her considering the chemo has left her with virtually no immune system.

The ER department has gone back in time 20 years. It used to be very efficient and very friendly but it is horrible now. They stick you in these little hard chairs and you wait for hours and hours. Also the staff is just miserable, rude, and inattentive.

For a supposedly non- profit hospital, they sure charge a lot! They've spent millions on a new wing that seems largely empty. This is a wonderful example of why your insurance with a$5000 deductible still costs you $10000 a year! I've used it a few times and have come out alive, so it's not all bad.

Unless absolutely no other choice avoid it.
I witness a tech take a keyboard fron the emergency room department covered in "who knows maybe blood or vomit" and he ran it through the main dishwasher in the the hospital.
Instead of shutting kitchen down to sanitized it for any possible blood borne or other illnesses that could spread. The IT department and upper management covered it up.
When the employee hotline was reported. They had me escorted from the hospital.
My advice go else where. And if anyone has eaten at the cafeteria or a patient's room that ened up sick in December of 2017. You may want to file complaint.

Thank you Lkld. Regional Health for always being there for me. Listening to me whine andcry about being home sick. You all are so wonderful to me
It's the kind words and you explain things better to me. You are all God's miracle workers. When I am lonely you have the right advise and you all check on me and made sure I was ok or if I needed something, you made sure I got it. Thank you all so much keep up the good work.
