24 pristine courts, pickleball only - no other facilities, except restrooms and water. For GVR members only. Very welcoming, almost always has open play with a range of player skill levels. Lots of tournaments and informal round robins. Just a few minutes east of central Green Valley. If you love pickleball, this is your mecca.

This is a great pickelball venue of 24 courts. You have to be a member of GVR (green valley recreation) to play. There are games separated by skill level going on most of the time. There are no lights for night play

This is the best place to play pickleball, I've ever played at, without a doubt, it's 24 brand new courts, owned by the green valley recreation organization (GVR). The pickelball club has 7-maybe- 800 members and during the sunny Arizona winter season we work it pretty hard, courts are scheduled in groups for different skill levels, so one can always find a game with like skilled partners/opponents.
One caveat is you have to be a GVR member or a guest of one. GVR has to other PB centers one with 8 courts and lights for night play, and another one of 4 courts used mainly for lessons.

We own Property in Green Valley and are members of GVR so there are no reasons not to give this five stars. Green Valley is well ahead on the Pickleball trend. Over a million dollars were spent on this facility, which augments 8 GVR courts at the East Abrego site and 4 courts at the Canoa Ranch site. Improvements have been made since it opened in 2019. Shade coverings, bleachers and benches were added and a new hitting wall is on the way. It will be the sight of the pickleball portion of the Arizona Senior Games this year (2022). Play at the site is limited to GVR members and guests. There are public courts at the Quail Creek Veterans Municipal Park. Other courts are associated with real estate developments. Their policy on drop-in play varies

Had a great time. Never played pickleball before. I had a couple lessons from Kathy P. I was visiting family her in GV. Just absolutely love that GV has a dedicated pickleball venue.
