This place is to do with yourself and putting God first in your life . It's not about what I want but what God needs from me. And this place help those that needs him to lead us to help him get those that are lost like I've been for so long . I'm 68 years old and God led me here. I was homeless living in the tunnels north of this town. And I had a guy tell me about this place. So I used a bus to get here and this is the best thing I've done in my life because God is here if you want him. I am from Michigan. A long way from home. I will be here for a year so I can get my life back.

Nice place. Help homeless and others get off the streets. Has programs to help with housing, work and recovery. Provides meals for residents and homeless, has DES and El Rio health center on property. To get a bed there you need to be there between 4am and 6am Monday to Thursday to stand in line. Intake is at 8am. You must be in the first 10 people to get in. Also you must not have any drugs or alcohol in your system to get in. They do test. They will help you, all you need to do is follow the rules and adhere to your program.

Tried to make a charitable donation, which is redirected to the Gospel Rescue Mission donate page. Have done this many times over the last year. Entered my donation amount in the Other box, filled out the cc info, and it came back as Insufficient Funds. Checked bank account, all good there.
Tried a second time. Entered same amount in OTHER box, then discovered that the page DEFAULTED to $200.
Don’t know what’s going on here, but BEWARE, because it could wipe out your account if you don’t catch the DEFAULT.
No more donations from me. Too bad for the people who really need it.
